@@khoimavlogs5161 I understand-- but I own multiple vehicles. Can't drive em all at the same time! :) Good news is when I do drive it, I get it proper warm and then do some spirited driving. Running great.
My 997.1 base Carrera is at 161k...driven daily, serviced by myself, anything goes wrong, or looks to be getting worn is replaced. Engine is same as when i bought it...but it has a few squeaks here and there and suffers from some of the plastic trim breaking, purely due to the heat cycles of Texas heat. Otherwise great value for money and hard to now replace because any other newer 911 upgrade is big bucks.
@@InvictusMotors Original engine, consumes zero oil and when i drop the oil, every 8K miles (ish) its clean oil. Over this time engine has needed 1 water pump, some solenoid on the cam shafts, a new AOS (Thats a tough home job) replaced most of the plastic hoses to the AOS as they go brittle, a new oil filler pip (goes brittle), and almost all the serpentine belt pulled cracked or just disintegrated so all replaced. Header coolant tank replaced, but nothing heavy mechanical to the engine. No IMS done and its not something i worry about, but reluctantly i will have it replaced (LN Engineering) when i do the next clutch and FW only because its nigh on impossible to sell unless done.
100k miles is non-issue provided continuous servicing by a Porsche Centre. I have a 997.2 2S also in Meteor Grey. Sill driving and sounding youthful after just hitting 90k.
I have near 82k on my .2 4s pdk, fully intend to put many more miles on it, my amg has 230k, my 8.5 s4 has 170, rs4 has 198, some others I have low miles on but I don’t let them sit unused. All have been absolutely reliable besides the amg, it has had some serious mechanical issues over time.
A boring comment. Basheer is not a TV star. He has a passion for Porsche as it shows. Ive watched many of his videos now and they are not boring. You have to realise that English is probably not his first language so it makes it harder to articulate things you may be after. I think he speaks a second language way better than I can. Give him a break, he sells cars. Nice ones!
I bought my 997.2 4S X51, same Meteor Grey with 100k miles, and added 15k miles since in 3 years. Nothing but pure joy since.
You have a rare power kit in yours. The sound must be amazing
I have seen a 997.2 with 286k miles running on original engine and just serviced regularly
WOW. my 2009 has only 23K miles. I better get on it!
@@dougdelony3855 porsche doesn't like to sit around bud. My has 168 000 and courting

That’s amazing. Is it on the original engine or had any rebuilds?

Just bought one with 71k miles let’s go!!!!
Awesome to hear and good luck my friend 👍
How long does the PDK last for? I know the engine is strong.
UK in the Summertime… beautiful… makes me want to go out for a road trip! ❤️
Bloody cold December night tonight… great watching this!
Liked sub’d.
Thank you John, me too. I long for warmer days and road trips in a 911. Any road trips planned?
@@InvictusMotors I really fancy going to Spa Francorchamps for one of the endurance races next year. 😁🤞

True 👍, nice to know of your 911. Keep putting those miles 😉

Wow you have some awesome cars and with good mileage behind it. So cool to have a collection like that
The answer is a definite yes
Thanks glad you agree Mark 😊
02:32 should be '"Pulled the foot off" from fifth to second ... ehm ... and is it the Boxer engine?
Agreed thank you and yes it’s the boxer 6 engine
2009 992.2 70K and perfect 😀
Any memorable trips in it?
One of the most boring presenters
Maybe some more constructive criticism?
Agreed my friend 👍
Let’s hear what’s boring about the presenter so he can work on it.
I thought it was a fantastic presentation, maybe the other 138 people who liked the video agree.
