I had a major headache the first week and after that first week my energy has increased, my mood has changed and I’m eating less. I just can’t believe the huge turnaround. It’s so weird! I have recently discovered your channel and now your podcast is the first thing that I listen to each morning. You share so much information and present it in a very accessible way. I have just received both the 14 Day Detox and the Sleep Protocol and, spurred on by your shows, intend to make my health #1 priority in 2021. I would love to take ‘The big 5’ tests and try other protocols that may aid my overall health. However, as I live in Ireland, the customs and postage costs are prohibitive. You talk about consulting a naturopathic practitioner but I am unsure of how to source one locally. In years past, I got great help from Jan de Vries who trained with A Vogel. However, I am unsure how to go about contacting anyone at present. Are you aware of any regulatory bodies or institutes (this side of ‘the pond’) that could help?

    was 455 a few years ago, which my doc said was the highest she’d ever seen, and my progesterone was basically nil. I was indeed miserable! I had already been taking high dose DIM for a few years, eating lots of cruciferous veg. I brought it down by adding calcium d glucarate and lots of MSM, along with the P5P from of B6. I don’t take formulated vitamins anymore because I’m too sensitive. I get my Bs by taking capsuled beef organs.

    How are you removing estrogen with phytoestrogens? I don’t understand this. And is PCOS not estrogen dominance?

    • @stephencabral
      @stephencabral  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Phytoestrogens are plant-derived compounds that structurally resemble human estrogen and can have both estrogenic and anti-estrogenic effects, depending on the body's existing estrogen levels. In conditions where estrogen levels are high, such as in PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), phytoestrogens may help modulate hormonal imbalances by competing with and blocking stronger endogenous estrogens from binding to receptors, potentially reducing estrogenic effects. PCOS, however, involves more than just estrogen levels-it also includes insulin resistance, increased androgens, and inflammation. Therefore, while phytoestrogens can be part of a treatment strategy, they should be used in conjunction with a comprehensive plan that includes diet, and lifestyle modifications.

    You mention B6 being crucial and the only supplement I've recently been on with B6 in it was a 5-HTP supplement from Nature's Sunshine. Recent labs in April 2024 showed I had (what was termed) toxic levels of B6 in my body. Why would this be? Low testosterone showed as well as Estro dom, with loads of constipation. Why/how would that be?

    • @stephencabral
      @stephencabral  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      B6 toxicity can occur in some individuals due to genetic variations that affect the metabolism and clearance of the vitamin. Specifically, polymorphisms in genes like ALPL, which encodes the enzyme alkaline phosphatase, can impair the conversion of pyridoxine (B6) to its active form, pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (PLP), leading to an accumulation of B6 in the blood. Additionally, variations in the liver enzymes responsible for detoxifying and excreting B6 can also contribute to differing susceptibility to B6 toxicity among individuals with similar supplementation levels.

    Thank you for the information, does DIM lower testosterone in men?

    • @stephencabral
      @stephencabral  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      DIM is primarily known for its ability to modulate estrogen metabolism, which can have an indirect effect on testosterone levels. The evidence does not strongly support the idea that DIM lowers testosterone in men; instead, it may help maintain a healthy balance between estrogen and testosterone by reducing estrogen dominance.

    • @stephencabral

      When it comes to managing ER/PR-positive breast cancer, it's crucial to follow a treatment plan outlined by your healthcare team, as they'll consider your specific situation, including the stage of cancer, overall health, and personal preferences. Your oncologist, possibly in collaboration with a registered dietitian specialized in oncology, can provide personalized recommendations based on the latest research and your specific treatment plan. They can help ensure that any supplements or dietary changes you consider will be safe and potentially beneficial in your context.

    • @stephencabral
      @stephencabral  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Experiencing discomfort or worsening of varicose veins during a detox can be due to changes in body circulation and hydration, affecting blood volume and venous pressure. Additionally, detoxification may trigger the release of toxins, leading to inflammation that exacerbates varicose vein symptoms. Dr just came across your channel in my search. My estrogen dominance has caused a pre cancerous polyp on my uterus and a thickened lining.
    Dr suggests total hysterectomy leaving ovaries or progestin IUD.
    I didn’t want to do any of those. Can I stop the hysterectomy by eating this diet?

      While it can certainly help, I can't make that guarantee without knowing more about your health history and complexities. I recommend ordering the StephenCabral.com/Hormones-Test-1 so we can have an in depth look at sex hormone imbalances, and as soon as this test is sent off completing the 21-Day StephenCabral.com/Detox. This will give you the very best chances to increase the odds of avoiding surgery, by addressing the underlying issues first.

    What about stinging nettle?

    • @stephencabral
      @stephencabral  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Stinging nettles may support estrogen clearance from the liver due to their potential ability to influence hormone metabolism and detoxification pathways.

    • @stephencabral

      Estrogen and fat go hand in hand. The more swollen your fat cells become, the more estrogen they produce. It can definitely be a sign of estrogen dominance.

      @@Adarshkumar__001 Best thing you could do is run the Stress, Mood & Metabolism test. This test can be run right at home.
      This will give my team a clear picture of what's going on and then when the results are in you'll get a complimentary consultation with one of my IHP Certified Health Coaches.
      I can't give specific recommendations here and the best thing to do would be to run the lab and work with my team.
      You can find the at-home lab test here: equi.life/products/thyroid-adrenal-hormones-test?irad=909082&irmp=2954772?

    Can hormone pellets cause a liver tumor? Possibly hemangioma?

      @@stephencabral thank you. I have read articles that stated estrogen could cause or feed a hepatic hemangioma… I get estradiol and testosterone pellets and when scanning my humeral bone tumor they found a liver tumor. I won’t let them do any more scans. I’ve been sick for so long and I already tried chemo it almost killed me. Just looking for answers.

      @@stephencabral just found out i have chronic arsenic toxicity… good grief. Also have crEBV so I guess either are to be considered. So not only estrogen but toxins… to many differentials. Including a humeral bone tumor thought to be cartridge tumor taking over bone marrow. Which shouldn’t be connected but… idk
