Dude what a great review. I love what Nomos is doing, but the lugs kind of concern me because I hate when a watch feels too long. Was considering one of their 33mm models, either a tangente or a Ludwig, but honestly I’d just like a club campus 36mm with a 44-45 mm lug to lug.

I'd almost call that salmon. I really love this watch especially in purple. I think the orange really pops on the purple too. $300 for a sapphire back seems absurd to me but if you told me Nomos finished those movements more than the closed casebacks, I'd spring for it in a second. PS that white Archer silicone strap is kind of a channel legend at this point 😂

The purple is a fun one too. It’s a very much collect them all kind of feel. And honestly the archer is 😂 I’ve had them for so long that I’ve seen that apparently over time they can yellow a bit. I might need to try to find a better supplier. I’d make my own if I could 😂 and read you loud and clear on the green one!

Made me think of farer resolute sorbet, for colour and case size. Both at 36mm youd think they'd be designed for smaller wrists or unisex, but whilst farer is a friendly 41mm lug to lug, this is 48mm! A 36mm watch for medium/large wrists?
Ya true if you want something that fits better than for sure the farer wears much smaller and gives a similar type of look. Forgot that version of the farer existed!
Great to see a review of a watch I have! I personally love the long lugs and the lug gap wearing two piece straps, to me the long lugs are part of the design language and the lug gap make that design choice even more apparent and distinctive.
I have 7 leather straps for it and to me leather makes the watch feels more serious and "grounded" in a sense, balancing the fun color. Highly recommend trying a light colored brown leather strap, it looks amazing with the coral dial. I also recommend the Nomos bracelet (non sport version), fits great and it's pretty quirky! I understand the lug gap on this one is the bane of your existence though haha.

Glad to know there are people out there that enjoy the lug gap. I agree it helps make the case more distinctive but info back and forth on liking it. I could defiantly see the light brown working!

Great review and superb strap pairings. I'm a Club Campus fan, love the design. The movement is well finished, pity we didn't see it due to the closed case back. Lugs are long, but the gap does not bother me. I'll try one on next time I'm at a Nomos AD. Definitely want to see a review of your green dial Club Campus!
Thank you! And I’m 90% sure I’ve reviewed a club with an open case back before do wish I could just pop it off for the video though haha. And ok I’ll keep it in mind on the green one!

Do you feel the QC issues are forgivable at the slightly expensive price point?
I would say so yes. Very minor things I saw here and one of the better macros I’ve had on the channel.

@@misteratoz overall probably grand Seiko. Consistently no to very little issues. To be honest I think there was a timex that was pretty good too 😂 it varies for sure but things tend to have small issues more than not at least from what I’ve seen

Why do you call it orange? They have an orange dial that looks different. Is it too much to ask, that you don’t confuse people?

Same. I got Resolute Sorbet vibes from this. Got me wondering why one would pay 80% more for the Club Campus.

Any watch with numbers looks like a kindergarten wall clock, or watch for children. When will watchmakers learn.
