Cool, that is some pretty involved props in use the. Love the light board. Good concept before cg animation was about.

Even though the measurements are out if date *imperial* as to *metric* the basics are still the same today!
The *NEED to show* these video (films) at secondary school for the whole of Australia and New Zealand!
Even better remake them (metric version) for today!

Can they educate school children in this as a subject after all most will end up driving sometime. The cut away car is probably around somewhere. In Sydney they had a similar Falcon XP in the museum of Applied Arts and Sciences which became the Powerhouse Museum.

Thanks for posting this, my mum got her license not long after this was made. Is it Victorian? Doesn't sound like a Queenslander

Does anyone know if that cutaway Falcon still exists? Brilliant model, must have taken some work to finish...and that was a brand new car they hacked up!

There are also cutaways of AU Falcons on display in Geelong, as well as an XB Falcon in Melbourne and XP in Sydney. Ford probably made a cutaway car every time they released a new model, so it could still exist.

Everything about this video is SOOOOOO relevant when you're restoring a 1977 XC Falcon...
