    امروز اومدم با یک سورپرایزخیلی خوب ، خیلی از دوستان گفته بودن آیا میشه بدون برد آردویینو و رمپ و استپر موتور یا بدون خرید پاورهای گران قیمت دستگاه تولید فیلامنت را درست کرد ؟ جواب این دوستان بله هست 😊
    من خیلی تلاش کردم که بتونم با حداقل امکانات این رو ممکن کنم و بالاخره تونستم .

      @@mauriciocalderon102 Lol, he already use the arduino for the stepper motor, the arduino shield already have connections for thermistor, so I wonder why he used the w1209 but not the arduino.

    Great project, @mr3dprint! I have a doubt about the needed power supply: how many amps.does it need to have in order to work?
    I have a lot of 12V 3A PSU abandoned in my job and maybe putting some in parallel can avoid me buying one.

    I've made a similar setup using an old 3d printer board and an extruder to pull the filament from the nozzle, is working like charm. Thanks for your videos, you're great! I'll try a gearbox (when I find one, I mostly use parts from trash).

    Maybe something to consider, but each bottle makes you around 20/22 grams of filament. Maybe there is a way to connect the cut bottle strips before pulling them into filament and thereby getting longer piece of filament in 1 piece? Or if not connecting it before pulling/extruding then maybe connect it afterwards? Otherwise you have to manually stop printing and change filament a lot. An idea for an extra video tutorial ?

    Hello I bought the W1209 a few years ago.
    I always wanted to build a pet filament extruder and now I found your video it explains well but I have a question about the W1209 sensor.
    Why did you connect the W1209 sensor with a diode 5408 to the thermistor 100K.

    I have a question, where do I connect the gearbox motor? To the 12v, but which ? To the green board directly or to the wires which come from it and create a 12v as in the scheme?? And the board how do I connect it to the power supply? Which 12v do i use? From the green board or from wires

    in the video you connected one of the resistance wires to k1 and the other to the negative of the source and in k0 you connected the 12v, but in the diagram it's totally different. what would be the correct connection?

    Awesome video and I'm going to build one for myself. I don't understand however the purpose of the 6 diodes in series connecting power to the motor. You make reference in the comments about adjusting the motor speed by adjusting the number of diodes, but what purpose do they solve. Don't they pass through full power, just in one direction only? If they provide resistance to control motor speed, why not use resistors? Many thanks for this series of excellent tutorials.

      Thanks dear friend, yes I used a diode to reduce the voltage and thus reduce the motor speed, this was my solution for this, you may use another method for it, it is important to reduce the motor speed

      @@mr3dp I did it many times but can't find any information about how to calculate equivalent temperature. I tried by my own with thermistor equations but I don't find the same temperatures.

    is there too much difference between inflating and heating the bottle vs not doing it? and if so, how you did the system? im thinking you cut a bike valve and then glued it to a holed cap?

      La temperatura ingresada es correcta (por supuesto, esta temperatura no es real porque la temperatura de 77.5 grados Celsius que se muestra en el panel es en realidad 205 grados) Lea el texto del video

      Não entendi, mas o motor é de 12 volts e deve ser ligado na fonte de alimentação também pode ser ligado separadamente

    I see that the power supply has 2 yellows and 2 black wires, is one couple of yellow and black for the thermostat and the other for the motor? Or the motor connects to the thermostat

      The motor is connected directly to a 12 volt power supply

And the green and black wire with the couple of wires which are yellow and black from the power supply, how did you get them there? Which connector did you cut?

    Hi @mr3dprint, I have a question about the diode: when I connected like the way you did it, I can't get any read on my W1209. But opposite, if I connected reversed, I can see that termistor shows values different to the values I get with no diode. Do you know what happens here?

    I managed to make the setup using my old ender 3 for spare parts, i tried to make the filament today with success but when i use the filament on my new 3d printer it doesnt have a grip, which means it doesnt extrude, maybe i need to increase the temperature a little bit from 210º and use larger plastic feed to make the filament more robust and get better grip.

      The temperature required is 260 degrees but dont go over 230 without a full metal hotend

    how about mr3dprint ... Today I assemble the thermostat and configure it as it is in the video, but I notice that it overheats and never reaches 77. It varies too much between negative and positive number. check several times that the thermistor is okay, but everything is well connected. Do you have any idea where I may be failing?

      Yes, both because of the thermistor and because of the diode used, it shows the lower temperature, because we needed to use this circuit in a cheaper circuit.

      This board has a maximum temperature that shows 110 degrees. In order to be able to control the temperature of 200 degrees, we had to change the thermistor, and also when we add a diode, it shows less temperature. By doing this, we can control the temperature up to 300 degrees. Of course, the temperature shown on the board is not the real temperature and the temperature of 78 degrees shown on the board is 200 degrees.

    Is there a specific reason for the diode used in thermocouple? The thermistor I got in the kit only can take 110 C. I tried putting 10k potentiometer with it in series. Because at Around 7k ohm its about 24 to 26 C. But I burned out my thermistor.....

      Hello dear friend, when the bottle is very thin, like water bottles, the filament becomes hollow, but this does not cause a problem during printing. You can adjust the diameter of the filament in the software instead of 1.75 less, for example 1.55 mm.

    pourriez-vous faire un schéma de branchement, car je ne comprend pas tout j'ai cru voir le branchement du moteur sur la broche de ( température sensor ) avec les 6 diodes 5408, alors que sur votre croquis sur cette broche c'est le thermistor 100k avec une diode 5408 et la sonde heater 12V 40 W est branchée sur le 12 V.

      Connectez un moteur 12 volts avec six diodes (pour réduire la vitesse du moteur) à l'alimentation 12 volts que vous obtenez de l'alimentation de l'ordinateur (fils jaune et noir).

    I did exactly this but my w1209 got on fire , literally , my question is why is negative connected to the thermocouple and not the board ? maybe sending 12v extra to the board make it 24v , what do you think could happened ?

      the motor has 50 rpm, if you check last video the gears have a final ratio of 31.5 - 8motor with 36 teeth intermediary gear = 4.5 ratio , and 8 with 56 big wheel rim = 7 ratio, combined that is 31.5 ratio - so 50/31.5 = around 1.6 rotation per minute for the wheel with the filament.
