  • Hi guys
I came today with another tutorial
And this tutorial is about connecting and collecting the filament of recycled bottles
And at the end of the tutorial, we will make a Hulk wall sculpture that is made of 3 PET bottles.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial

Thanks for sharing! We'll see if this winter I can fabricate the design I was thinking using DIY pliers, or an attachment to pliers, with a built in hot end design (heating element and thermocouple) where the heated tube filament fusing section will be cut in half so easier to open and remove the filament once the two pieces are melted together.

    • @jafinch78
      @jafinch78 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thinking a similar cut and polished tool might be handy for the bottle strips also so those can be fused together. Would be nice making for that design an adjustable width and possibly shimmed for thickness mechanism. Thinking something like channel locks in a finer opening increment might aid in making that an easier tool to change sizes.

No, I haven't actually done anything 3D printing related other than saving materials and getting another 3D printer I still haven't assembled yet. Looks like the Mosaic Palette systems are the best to couple the filament ends, though seems something else I saw online was impressive, though I forget offhand. When I remember, I'll try to comment again to pass on the info. A little busy now. Thanks for checking. @@nerdyranger1120

Impressão fácil só precisei aumentar o fluxo pois o filamento não fica 100% dos 1.75 preenchido. Muito obrigado por esse trabalho incrível que você compartilha com todos.

Its a really great working concept. I wished I could make this in Germany. But it just does not make sense here as there is no PET Bottles without deposit. You would need to pay 25 Cents per bottle which makes this invention senseless here. If I would have a source of PET Bottles I would build this For Sure. I bought the Filastruder and plan to experiment with other Sources of plastic.

A cnc kit usually comes with cables with 3 pin dupont on one side and a 4 pin JST on the other end but it wont match the pins of a NEMA 17 steppper, wich connector do you reccomend for this? ) , the next thing thats not very clear is how to conect the wires to the PSU Im just an intermediate user of tech, not an engineer I would really be very gratefull if you didnt take for granted that all your followers know how its done for this shield in particular, Finally and probably the most important part could you please explain how to tie the first extruded filament from the nozzle to the wheel what kind of knot do you use , what kind if wire (diameter ,material).do you reccomend ? ,Thank you for sharing this with us ,youre awesome and I wish you great success for your chanel and your projects but PLEASE finish one project and its explanation before you start another .

he ran the RAMPS board by powering the attached Arduino MEGA through the USB cable in video number 5. You should get a plug with your RAMPS board that you can screws in wires to 12V power from the power supply recommended in the first comment of that video.
As for the stepper motor wiring, you uy pre-wired RAMPS stepper motor cables for use with NEMA17 stepper motors very cheaply, as these are a common 3D printer part.
If you want to make your own, they have a Dupont 4-pin connector at the board end and a 6-pin JST connector for the NEMA17 motor, usually connected to pins 1, 3,4 and 6.
There are a lot of wiring guides available for RAMPS setups, this one is a good example (although the filament maker uses only the extruder motor and thermistor).
You could always use the RAMPS board to build a 3D printer with later if you do decide to switch hardware like @mr3dprint did!

Agreed! Would be awesome to see an attempt at joining PET tape before it enters the the filament extruder

Wow man, this thing is awesome! But you don't explain how it works really well... You are posting a lot of this video showing the same thing, it seems you are just farming views using an interesting concept that maybe isn't real? Show how it works!!!

Thank you dear friend for your comment, I did not understand what you mean, each video shows specific details of the production process (inserted in the video title) and also a model is printed at the end of the video
