    Hello, good afternoon! I am doing this project at my school and I am having the problem that the W1209 board does not go above 110°C and I already put the diode indicated in the video and it reaches 50°C Also try different diodes. I don't know what to do anymore because if I change places the thermistor doesn't detect the temperature and doesn't cut. I wait your answer. out!

      Hi. Thank younso much👍. The true is, that I build two of these. One with 12V 40W and second with 12W 35A. 40A is working more smoothly and more constant, wich is really important for final result. So IIm definetely recomending 40W PSU.👍

      @666neoselen 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@franciscocastaneda4641 "amp reducer" would be a resistor, but the load you put on it act already as a resistor. unless it's not 12v power supply, you'll be fine.
      (yes comment is 1 year old but it will help for others too)
      power = volts x amperes
      so a 40W at 12V will deliver 3.33A maximum. the power supply shown in his video is certainly a voltage-regulated one (meaning voltage won't fall if you use too much current, here it will just not work 100% of components' capability).
      the heater won't be always at maximum (ideal would be to use a pwm controiler and a thermal probe to set the knob) but his idea of W2109 requires less tools (however when heater is on it uses full power, your motor may not go 100% when heater is on.

    Why used new temperature sensor and discard the one that comes with the controller w 1209?
