You half the resolution by placing blocking bars vertically a bit over the screen, and then rip the displayed image into these same bars, every other only visible to the left eye rendering from a virtual camera a bit to the left, and the same thing with a virtual camera a bit more to the right for the rest of the bars of the screen not rendered for the left eye already. The wiiU was a great entry into streaming to a handheld. If you were playing a non extra screen intensive game it was no problem to give up the TV and play on the handheld screen

There are way too many "trainers" that allow you to cheat on any PC game like the GameShark for N64 and original PlayStation. I remember spending literal hours adding cheat codes to my GameShark. I typically used it to screw around once I had beat a title, but I ended up using it a bunch on titles that were either too difficult or to explore the closest things we had to an "open world" game.
Since it's been years and all these gimmicks have faded away for good, I only have one question: Are you still willing to part with that Capt. Reynolds statuette? I'm asking for a friend
Eh. It was kind of. That's not a bad thing. It was the only official wireless controller of the era. Call it a hook, a unique selling point, or a gimmick, it was designed to impress and get people's attention. It didn't really work but it's one of the finest controllers ever made.
Couldn't disagree more on the wiiu, the screen on the controller was often not necessary to play the games and in Monster hunter tri ultimate in particular you had your inventory, or your map on that screen, Microphone and volume and it worked well. I've never played my switch in non docked mode, because the controllers are awful. The Only game i found the wiiu controller awful for was starfox, which nintendo has yet to figure out how to give us another starfox 64, so i dont put that on the controller.
Remember when xbox fanboys tried telling us that the 360 sales were comparable to PS3 sales? They called it a "console war" because they either weren't intelligent enough to look up worldwide sales numbers, or they were so desperate for the xbox to seem as if it was competition, rather than a company that thinks it can buy success instead of building it like Sony and Nintendo did. I enjoyed the 360 Elite as much as anybody. However, I didn't deny reality, or avoid the simplest of google searches in oder to tell lies about its sale numbers. I still see xbox the same way I saw them when they announced the OG xbox. They try to buy and force their way into the gaming community to make money, instead of having a genuine love and interest for it that they could relate to the community with in order to produce great products.
Ah, Disney Infinity, if they'd copied what Skylanders had done, it would have been a MASSIVE hit. Something that would have been nearly unstoppable. Instead, it was boring, uncreative garbage. Kinda sad.
I disagree about everything 3D related, I love 3D so much, it adds a whole extra dimension to 2D. I primarily still play on my 3DS because I love the 3D effect so much My parents have a 3D TV and I found out that most programmes have 3D support (I doubt things are filmed in 3D and instead it’s just some post processing to add in depth, but it’s not in the TV because there are some shows without 3D), even cartoons like Bob’s Burgers is in 3D. I feel like it always enhances what I’m playing or watching for it to be in 3D The only times I ever turn off the 3D on my 3DS is for a second before I turn it back on and make what I’m looking at pop. Cumulatively my 3D has been off for no more than 5 minutes across hundreds of hours of playtime. I cannot imagine choosing to play with it turned off, I bought some games that didn’t have 3D and I just didn’t bother to play them because I had other games I could play with 3D
