    I wear mine for protection, to keep in mind that the gods are always with me no matter where I go, and to symbolize I am strong enough to fight anything that may challenge me in life no matter how difficult the battle may be.

    As an American, I wear the Mjolnir as a representation of Culture, Courage, Strength and PRIDE. My Mother's lineage is Nordic. Embrace your roots and be proud. If you do not have Pride, you have NOTHING. Hail!

    I value history. A society that forgets its history repeats mistakes that were already made. I will wear Thors hammer as a reminder of history and because its really cool.

      Likewise. If I wear one, it'd be because of the history it holds; how compelling norse mythology is but I won't wear it as a source of spirituality.

    I got one myself. I wear so out of my admiration and respect for Thor, to show or represent my support for Neopaganism. May mighty Thor grant me strength and protection.
    In addition, I also have the Aegishjalmur and the Vegvisir necklace.

    I wear an Odin head
    As I do crave and seek knowledge I see a lot of his Odin in me
    But I am going to make a Mjolnir from silver bullion
    So I hope I do a good job
    I’ve learnt that the ᚦ has a lot of correspondence with Mjolnir and also the Fylfot otherwise known as the swastica

    I made my own Mjolnir out of an old piece of copper, with a few hand tools. It took five days, looks a little crude, but I like it! Skol,and Happy New Year, fellow heathens!⚡️⚔️

    I call upon mjolnir being the remover of obstacles and clearer of mountains... that carries forward into taking the easier paths to the same accomplishments and a reminder that even the gods aren't perfect... to guide me and protect me from evil... and being not specifically religious it's my connection to any and all gods that may be, I just picture mine to he somewhat like thor, in need of more experience of life but nobel and with the best intentions at heart... even if the world comes crashing down on me, it's understandable that a mortal god might make mistakes in their journey to passing on the mantel to whoever is next to take watch of the realms of life

    I never understood the wearing of the cross. An Object where Jesus was killed created by his enemies. It's like worshipping the stone where a sacrifice was made.

    • @therideinmidgard
      @therideinmidgard  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes, I don't like the cross, it symbolises the suffering of humanity, torture, death.

    • @wyattmichaelproductions
      @wyattmichaelproductions 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi friend! I think your understanding is based on a lack of context and some misunderstanding. The purpose of God coming to earth as a man, Jesus Christ, was to forgive the sins of the world, and redeem His creation. Jesus was not just a man or just a good teacher. Because He was and is God, He therefore lived a perfect life. Because of sin, all created people are inherently sinful, imperfect, and in need of forgiveness. Jesus Christ, being perfect, gave Himself as a perfect sacrifice, that whoever believes in Him as Lord and forgiver of their sins, would have eternal life and salvation. The reason Christ died on the cross, and was raised to life 3 days later by the power of God, was to take away the sins of the world. Animal sacrifices appeased God in the Old Testament, but those sacrifices were temporary. When Jesus came as a man, it was His goal to give Himself as the atoning sacrifice that would take away the sins of the world forever because He was and is perfect. No one 'killed' Him. He was not a victim. He chose to die. Therefore, anyone who asks for Christ's forgiveness and puts their faith in Him as Lord will have eternal life, salvation from eternal punishment, and forgiveness of all the sins they have ever, or will ever commit. Verses that discuss this are John 3:16, 1 John 1:9, Isaiah 53, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 2. We wear the cross because it symbolizes eternal life and forgiveness, and the God who humbly gave Himself for the ones He loved. Even knowing many would reject Him. The cross, which was previously a symbol of death, is now the most powerful symbol of eternal life and God's unending, selfless love.

    • @blackbeard68
      @blackbeard68 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@wyattmichaelproductions That makes no sense. IF Jesus was not killed then he committed suicide. Which is a sin...

    • @wyattmichaelproductions
      @wyattmichaelproductions 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@blackbeard68 The Bible says that no one has greater love than he who would lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). It wasn't suicide, it was a self sacrifice to save those He loved and still loves. For example, if a man pushes a woman out of the way of a moving bus in a street, and she lives and he dies, does that mean he committed suicide? Of course not. He gave his life for her. The concept is the same for what Jesus did. Because of sin, we are quickly moving towards eternal punishment, but then Jesus stood in the path and took that punishment, so that we, whom He loves dearly, could live forever with Him, if we trust in Him for salvation and forgiveness.

    • @blackbeard68
      @blackbeard68 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wyattmichaelproductions That's like comparing apples to bananas. He was still murdered by people hurling rocks and men stabbing him. He did not jump in front of a spear to save someone. It's more akin to death by cop. He may have sacrificed himself, but he was still murdered. And ya, anytime someone gives up their life it's still suicide regardless of the motive behind it. You're still giving up your life.

    • @hrothgarb9104
      @hrothgarb9104 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I'm not sure I mean that. It's fine to trade openly... I refer more to denial of Scandinavian culture and values in Scandinavia in favor of foreign ideals, culture and beliefs. Denying who and what we are isn't a path forward, it denies us our HugR, our self-worth and our way. Not to the dismissal of others mind you, but I think Scandinavia and our heritage deserves equal billing at least. This is a healthy way forward...

      That's a lot of nonsense. I run into this sort of stuff every day and it's bunk. Our ancestors often made their own and wore them for numerous reasons. I'm not sure what branch keeps telling people they have to earn a right to wear their hammer or have to be gifted one but it's definitely nonsense.

    My ancestors sacred Mjolnir necklace is a piece of a distorted puzzle that is my salvation that saves me from a heart attack because my own were wrongfully accused of commiting the worst act of betrayal to all of our own that we don't want harm to come to. Along with my ancestors Mjolnir necklace are a destroyed sacred rune stone family tree remembrance monument created only for sacred chieftains with the family theonymn name Thor engraved on it that Harold Godwinson swore a sacred oath up on along with sacred oath rings that my own took to the grave that are worn to state they refuse to betray or dominate those they are family to and equal to. The old freedom fighting norse chieftains refused to be the bane of their own who they refused to dominate that they swore oaths and wore oath rings and created an empire that was divided to divert to preserve the freedom fighters nomad way that became lost to so called unity of the one ring of power that corrupted many minds with the one dominant race of the one true god that terrorised the middle east and Africa and Asia and Australia and America and any good pagans of all Eurasia who became enslaved by the religion that uses them as puppets against their own and many other races that were meant to be their allies.
