Amazing and smart interview, good job, Sir. It is mind-boggling how Shatner remains so sharp. I'm personally touched by his dynamic relationships with people and events. He has lived almost twice as long as my mom, but I'm so appreciative of the meaning he seeks in everything. I see no wasted life in this long-lived journey. It's been a wild ride, and he's come out pretty freaking well. Obviously, one can find many controversial facts in his past, but aren't we all flawed in some ways? Considering everything, he has always been in a messy, to say least, enviroment.

Mr Shatner has been a fixture my entire life. I was born early 80s watched him on the Star Trek Movies, TJ Hooker, Rescue911 and my absolute favourite Boston Legal. He is such an amazingly interesting person and loved watching this interview. I cannot think of any person even 30 years younger that is remotely that sharp.

So nice to see that William Shatner is in such good shape at his age.
And Chris, you took it off my mouth, as I was listening to you both…. Curiosity is the number one answer & secret….you never think of death either… because you have no time…It’s not hanging out with young people either because young people hang out between them… but curiosity, learning, sharing, being positive & objective, accepting what is as it is and it’s not always sweet and pink. ….and making sure that our curiosity has no limits, geographically and psychologically…with an open mind …looking far like an horizon in front of us…this is aging well and happy…🇫🇷🇺🇸 ….as always my vision and my experience… only….there is a lot more to say, but this is the top of my list..

William Shatner is an excellent and talented actor 👏! He is very intelligent and interesting 👏 He was so handsome 😍 in his younger years and still at his age! His mind is keen and all that he does to keep himself going. I ❤️ William Shatner for all the energy and enthusiasm, and entertainment you give the world. I wish you great health 🙏! Shat has been and always will be, my friend. My hero as a young lad, and even if they were just stories made up to entertain, it was the hopeful future he portrayed and which continues to inspire me after nearly 60 years. My own father made it to 90, but, unfortunately, without his mind intact. Bill (I've known of him for so long it seems we've been friends forever), that you still have a great mind at 92 is amazing! Live long and prosper!
I appreciate Chris' angst regarding his aggression, and there are far too many people who combine that with an innate ability to enjoy hurting others.
I learned long ago (high school 90 lb weakling) that no matter how aggressive I became, I could not physically stand up to all of the bullies being aggressive towards me. Not to mention that I had no natural aggression and just attempting to build up aggressive attitude just brought more pain. So I basically spent my life in avoidance of people who I felt were threatening. I've had, and continue to have, a great life, achieved much, and as Bill says, continue to learn.
But mostly in non confrontational ways. Never beat up anyone, and have not been punched or beaten up since high school.

I got to meet William a few times as a young child in Toronto, when my cousin David Drum was the chiropractor for The National Ballet of Canada, and he and Karen Kain were friends. I didn't yet know who he was, and so I only watched Star Trek and so on, including many visits to the Stratford Theater later on in life. He treated me as an intelligent person, not as a child, and I was indeed an old soul, never really a child, and I've always had an insatiably curious mind, and I too have never stopped learning, and don't intend to. I really adore him, and there is never a time when he posits or story-tells that isn't fascinating. So nice to see and hear him looking so well. I know my cousin keeps in touch with Karen Kain. Now I wonder if William keeps in touch with my cousin, who is also a fascinating, artistic human.

Shatner's still got it, which is admirable. I've been around long enough to remember watching the first the first Star Trek episode. When he took the suborbital flight there was a major difference between "Shatner" and "Kirk"...Shatner was upset by the reality of vacuum and a universe of stars around us, "Kirk" would have said "what do you mean this is all the fuel we have".

This is so cool listening to you and Bill. (I believe Bill inadvertently called you a muscle bound brute Chris!)😂 I love all things actors. As a Gen X, I caught on to Star-Trek during its movie phase. The one where the whales save the planet was my favorite. The answer to Bill’s question is that from the moment we are born we are dying a little everyday. . .that’s why we have to really live. At least that’s my theory. Diabetes and poor health run in my family’s bloodline. . .and as someone who has been physically fit nearly all my life, I’m here to BREAK that chain.

It always distressed me when Mr Shatner distanced himself from Kirk but I understand why. But I think in the latter days he has come to embrace that notoriety and be cooler about it. Now that Nimoy, DeForest Kelly, Jimmy Doohan, Nichelle Nichols are gone Mr Shatner is only one of three actors left from the main lineup. When he finally passes it will be so sad.

What a great interview. I just love him (both of you) so much for this one - and for all that you do. I will be 80 next month and I laughed out loud at his wondering "am I dying" over a sudden ache in the night. I could sure relate! My parents lived into their late 80s and early 90s, so I don´t actually expect to fall off the perch in the immediate future, but I can remember my Dad at 92 musing over how death would arrive for him. Not in a morbid way, just with curiosity. One does wonder ... can`t really help it.

Fiction is teaching us to wake up, life brings out the sledgehammer. What do you hate? What do you love? Teachings can be extremely painful, but in turn you are rising to a higher level of intelligence & compassion.
You are doing a good job, keep loving yourself and thank you for all your teachings & knowledge. ❤

I really enjoyed that. Besides hearing how men speak to men about all kinds of things, I really appreciated hearing two men talk so candidly with each other, especially when he gently questioned you about why you felt you had to basically diminish WS in your son's eyes. Then you pretty quickly admitted, humbly, that that is what happened. Then you both could move on. That's one of the gifts 12-step pgms give us - the ability to say if we're wrong and promptly admit it. Quick, honest, clean and then onto the next thing. Beautiful!!! ❤

Thank you for having Mr. Shatner on. It brought to light that people in this country can't conceive that an elder can be so lively and vital. I'm 80 and still bright in my mind, body not so great. Don't judge us and discount our life experiences- eg. Biden.
