If this is the first time you are hearing this man, please do not sleep on his lectures! He has taught me more and than all my history teachers combined in school. Of course, make sure to fact-check as he is not perfect, and sometimes makes mistakes or interprets something in a way that I don't align with, but all in all I am very grateful to him!

It is foolish to die for a handful of dirt and a god who does not care. Run and live. Your life belongs to no one but you.. use your pain to strengthen you and strengthen the generations that come after you. If you stay you may die and that will be the end of your story in this reality. Save yourself.

@@galemartin9155 they convinced you that you dont have a soul.. but you do.. nothing but your deeds will cross the door when you die.. your deeds are all that count.. you clearly are a smart man.. God cares.. but He gave us Free Will.. and free will comes with a spectrum of experiences, because of our wide range of choices. God is One, an Infinite One and there is no second, or else he would not be Infinite. We are not outside of God we are paradoxically in the Infinite. Imagine you have a dream and in your dream you look in the mirror and you see yourself with a background in the mirror... this world is that background in the mirror of Gods dream. Do you understand? TIME is relevant and the Hour i.e. the Eschaton is pulling us in, backwards in time like an echo in the mountains. Judgement awaits and God is the only Judge.

Today l gave a sigh of relief to hear the UN finally issued arrest warrents for Netenyahu & Gallant but, fear that the US will get in the way of justice.

My dad was born in Yemen in 1908, obviously not around now, he had a newsagents where he got to know a lot of customers, the shop was in an area where a lot of students lived from many countries, an Iraqi guy came in and was talking in Arabic but dad just couldn’t understand him. The guy told dad that dad’s Arabic was classic Arabic. It seems that people from the gulf and Yemen speak classic Arabic, I suppose it makes sense as that part of the gulf was once just called Arabia/Arabia Felix. The same goes for Egyptians, dad couldn’t understand the Arabic Egyptians spoke. The Middle East/West Asia is a fascinating part of the world, so many different diverse cultures and dialects.

FDR was thinking about the POST WAR world, before entering the conflict, as Roy said, at the 3/4 mark. Just elected to serve a third term, he knew how unpopular foreign intervention would be.
France fell fast, Britain was getting bombed, and neutral Denmark was begging for munitions. Lend-lease was a clever loophole, gaining bases
and weapons sales was setting the U.S. up as undisputed super power. Pearl Harbor was the moment of justification for the Alliance.
The Marshall plan put the EU in debt to rebuild, and it was game over. We were running the show. Churchill was engaging with Ben-Gurion, who had his command center in London. After the Holocaust, a "Jewish State" was an easy sell.

One small note on the common language of the Arab identity..although it’s true that local dialects can be very different and sometimes hard to comprehend there are eight things to keep in mind 1) Dialect blocks are not many so Palestinians, Jordanians, Lebanese, Syrians and Iraqi Arabs don’t have to make much effort to communicate in semi-local dialect and the same applies to the Gulf and to North Africa bar Egypt 2) City dwellers across the Arab world tend to have a more similar pronunciation making it easy for them to communicate and they form the majority of travellers 3) All Arabic media uses a very similar formal Arabic and most Arabs are able to default to more standardised language when meeting other Arabs 4) the Classical formal language of the Quran for example is identical across all 5) Egyptian Arabic is sometimes used to bride the gap as most would be familiar through the Egyptian film industry 6) all languages have that type of variance eg English spoken in London, Liverpool and Edinburgh can be fairly distinct and to some degree hard to comprehend..if a local scouser would default to slang for example and yet both can communicate..if they want to 7) Arabic is one of five recognised languages at the UN so Arabs are accustomed to hearing the form of Arabic that’s similar (a bit more formal) to the Arabic used in the media. 8) social media means most Arabs are exposed to a wider range of dialects and slang then was previously the case which makes it easier to figure local slang, dialect or expressions out.
In short, as long as the will is genuine then practically all Arabs can definitely communicate to each other in Arabic.

Half way through this: I don’t understand why Saudi Arabia would invest their dollars back in the USA. Varoufakis the Greek economist has a specific date of 1971 when the USA ties the German car manufacturers into ploughing their profits back into Wall Street. I believe both these propositions but am intrigued by the processes which ensured them. What would have happened to the USA if Germany & Saudi Arabia had taken these dollars and invested them in Japan?

I don't really aggree with the idea that a common DNA pool is one of the most relevant characteristics of the idea of nation. That's an idea of the old European romanticism, blood and soil , it was never true. For example Portuguese gene pool is multifaceted , Iberians, Romans, visigoths, Berbers, Arabs, Germans , french etc etc . The same is true for all nations.
We create the myth of s common ancestry but that's just a myth. The Germans believed they were descendants of Arians, the french of the celts, the Portuguese of the lusitani etc etc

At the conscious level it’s about appearance familiarity and generalised physical resemblance which undoubtedly plays a part in seeing others as closer or further away and critically in how quickly and to what extent trust can be established. Genes would certainly play a big role here and even a similar mix of genes would do the job. It’s not that some genes are better but that similar genes can more easily collaborate.

I think he's not quite correct about tanks at 1:00:40 - sure, the Panther and Tiger II were fine designs, but they were also rushed intro production, with countless reliability problems. Especially the Tiger II was overweight, underpowered and prone to breakdowns - and if it did not break down it would run out of fuel or get destroyed by Allied air power. Also the armored steel that Germany produced in late 44 was nowhere as good as what they had in the early years and was prone to spalling, so even a non penetrating hit could injure/kill the crew with shrapnel. And with only 489 Tiger II tanks produced they barely mattered.
And the M4 was anything but crappy. The early models had their problems, but already had sloping armor, unlike Germany's main tank, the Mk IV. And the late versions of the Sherman, with the upgraded main gun and armor, could take on almost anything the Germans had, especially the Easy Eight, the Jumbo and the Sherman Firefly were very good tanks and available in large numbers.

Sir, what is being called meddling has its routes in S. Arab with discovery of oil, rule of Saudi dynasty, and crucially a west US
    defence umbrella.
Emirates of Arab peninsula have been incapable of defending themselves and are therefore
dependent on western boots and weapons. Then there is inter region rivalry and insecurity of dynastic rules.

The arab situation would have become a version of the previously deposed ottomans and the israeli state would never have taken hold
Which obviously was a threat to western US hegemony controlled by the US
As we saw with oil shock of 1973 it was real but not organized enough so israel got all the US support it wanted which has been the case until today to the point Netanyahu has directed all the military action of the US

Was Shakespeare antisemitic for writing “The merchant of Venice” or was he being a naturalist?

The bla about 1 state or 2 states is just bla... apartheid is apartheid either way... People that support 2 states endorse the idea of self-representation by the oppressed. The word state in their views means that the Palestinians are equal.... People that support 1 state solution endorse the idea that peace can only be attained by unity.... whatever guys..... it's all words..... just stop throwing bombs.... let go of your hatred.... let go of your intellect.....

My appeal to every Muslim, my brother or sister, the owner of the channel, I know that it is not my right to comment on your channel, but God is my witness that our circumstances are harsh and forced me to do this. Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' How many times I called and talked and tried hard, but no one responded. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967711500090. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can. May God reward you with good =>[[}>] ^][/&;;&;&&;•̥·-•.,¸-•.,¸°·̮ •̥·°,.•¯,.•¯,;;;.≪∫⌈,.≪∫⌈,.≪∫⌈,.≪∫⌈,.≪∫⌈,.------------------------------،-------،---------،------------،-،-----

The pure race thing in WW2 they actually did the opposite of what most people think. They took women from all over Europe to mix with the men. Not from the same small area.
