Definitely doing this and the TST WORX Pack. Just gotta break in the engine first I got a 2020 R3. Don’t accidentally buy the Motion Pro 01-0094, get an OEM Yamaha R6 throttle tube.
@@michaelryanjereza5394 loosening the freeplay would make the install easier, and would require they be adjusted back. Stiffness is typically a sign of friction somewhere in the throttle cable
Its a positive affect in the way that its a smoother, more consistent roll on. The stock tube is oval shaped while the r6 tube is a perfect circle. Definitely more consistent control.
@@carlcordon3594 oh man now that's a good question. If I recall correctly, the R6s was phased out after 09, so ide have to say R6 since that particular model designation runs from 08 to present
Best advice on placing the throttle in… a little sand paper not too much and also loosen up throttle tension from handle made it a breeze
want to do this to my ‘21 R3. After a few rides the amount you need to turn your wrist to open up the throttle is pretty uncomfortable
Might do this soon, just started riding a few months ago but felt like the r3 needs more kick

Hey did you also lose the freeplay? And did yours became more stiff twisting the throttle?
The freeplay stayed the same and there wasn't any added stiffness. Did u mess any of the adjusters when installing?
