I have a 2019 FLS softail Slim. I side swiped a SUV because of the bike having the death wobble. I only bent the floorboard and the shifter.

Love Love Love that rear suspension! I can see why you were interested in 21 inch wheels on this frame, being how small the bike is, but thoe 18s look pretty great. And I love the profile you are going for with the matching fatter tires. Its going to be a killer ride when you get it all done. Thanks for the content. Cheers S😎

Just found your channel and love what you are doing with this 77 kz400. I have a 74 kz400 stock. Picked it up a number of years ago, leaking carbs. It's in fair condition, but just haven't gotten around to getting it on the road. It's time to get it right though, in 2025. I also have a 1977 kz400 Deluxe Custom in rough shape. It's similar to how you received your bike. That will be a long-term project somewhere after a number of other project bikes I own get the attention they need. Appreciate finding you and your channel and will be tuning in from time to time. Keep up the good work - it is motivating for people like me. Cheers and happy new year! S 😎

So did you actually take it out for a ride with the tuner attached, and then you tuned it? Or did you just tune it from the beginning. Without gathering data?

I got a 17 Road Glide with the M8 could I bought brand new when I work for a Harley dealership in Southern California. Is my baby. I did all Factory recommended maintenance it about 8K miles I noticed no power at open trottle. At 10K miles the rear cylinder developed and oil leak at the base of the exhaust port gasket. I had the bike toad home I have it written in since it seems to me that it's an overpressure problem. I talked to my local Harley-Davidson dealership about this issue. They recommended I just buy a gasket kit and replace the gaskets on the rear cylinder. Since then I've learned about this transmission venting process sounds like it could be my solution. Just replace the oil pump with a Feuling horsepower plus oil pump I'm currently looking for somebody who is more competent than myself to replace the gaskets on that rear cylinder of my M8. I have a service manual but I don't trust myself.

I cant maje a fist barely cuz hands beat up cuz come down hard on front wheel sending lot of pressure into my hands. I have the mt7 single finger lever for rear brake so its easy to brake,, w stock grips anyway. Thank you for the info , I have an FLRT 2016 basic high out put 103 with 7000 miles on it . Had it just 7 months now . Only mods are slipon Vance Hines and and air cleaner bi-pass to catch can and vent all fits inside of stock air cleaner. So everyone was doing this in one form or another. Now finding this may not be the way. I would just like to get mods right and not damage my beautiful toy, anyway thank you

My brother that’s teaching me to ride said to stay away from forward controls since I’m short well I found a kit that brings them closer to me about an inch and it was perfect. The issues with the big sucker might have to do with fuel standoff. It's possible that the radius flows better on a test stand. But I know the guys that build prostock drag cars who have to look at everything because they have displacement rules and everyone starts with similar equipment have observed wet flow inside of intake manifolds. If they run more than about an 8mm radius on the top of the runner into the manifold they see fuel separation and have sluggish engines. While the air filter is designer for air, there will be reversion and you may see a fuel cloud outside of the carburetor that backs up and sucks back in. The radius might be allowing this reversed air to allow the fuel mist to form droplets and wet the radius instead of staying in a better droplets size for combustion.

I just completed the mod with my friend who is a Harley Tech. I used a 3/8 barbed fitting since I already had a Dk customs catch can. We tapped the plastic cover with an NPT tap. We where worried the nut on the inside could come loose. We used permatex Right stuff to seal the fitting. This mod works better than my A1 cycles vented dipstick.
