He introduced me to the UV-Max category, and I thought his meticulous approach and zeal made him set a record that would stand for a very long time. However, it has been beaten thrice since and the record was brought down to 18:40. The fact that you now casually take 51 seconds off of that, whilst still missing shots and bumping against walls, is just mind-boggling. You never cease to amaze me.

Despite playing Knee-Deep in the Dead for many years, I've NEVER realised it was possible to take this route 3:41 (always took the secret exit after grabbing both yellow and blue keys) Impressive playthrough as always, Mr. Zero Master!
All right, next challenge for ZM is to play blinded! Literally, like screen off or band on his eyes or whatever. Only with audio. He already knows every corner of doom 1 and 2, every monster and item. So, I would love to see the real "blinded" speed run! I am sure he can do it!
Does anyone else find the ending of e1 m6 to be the hardest part of this run? I have often played through this episode on UV, trying to get 100% kills and I breeze through only to get trapped by pinkies and spectres at the end of that level. Without the rocket launcher it’s almost impossible to do enough damage. He just places two shots well and creates enough space to strafe out of danger. It looks easy but it’s insanely hard. Amazing.
That double shotgunner kill 0:29 seconds in, might not seem like a big deal to most people, but for anyone who is invested in this game and speed running, it’s so clean and just perfectly done. I’d like to think it was an accident, but I’ve seen enough of your work to know there’s a high chance it was intentional.

Will you ever do your nightmare runs with 100% kills, items and secret, instead of just secrets? As a diehard completist, I would love to see a Tnt/Plutonia run of that kind. Also one more question, are the broken secrets on E4M3 and M7 and the broken item on Doom II possible to grab with any kinds of bugs or glitches without cheating (saves can be used)?

Ditto, always wondered how to get up there. I'm ashamed to say I never knew about the secret level either and I've been playing since release :S
Simple, once you reach the secret exit room, on the opposite side to the exit switch, press the "USE" key to trigger the platform@@xlitin
