    Its so nice to see a Paragliding video without music in the background so that you can hear all of the sounds of the wind, instruments and also the emotions of the pilot. It makes it so much more real for the viewer. Great video!

    Freakin' amazing video dude! I started PG, and I can't wait to get to cloudbase. Loved the narrations on your video, and the excitement when you punched out of that cloud!

    I think this is a normal strong thermal from the cloud. I was myself at Bulgaria last year caught by a dust devil with 8-9 m, uiet more rough and that one gives my during climbing several massive colapses of the wing right, left, and front and it was heavy to get out of it. But for sure a very nice climb with 4 -5/6 meters of you :-)

    Looks like 5500 feet? Great lift. Smooth

  • @Ventotralemani

    It's a simply strong thermal...in a dust devil it's different

      exactly what I was thinking.

    • @EiziEizz
      @EiziEizz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bullshit!
      Do you think a dustdevil just stops 300m above ground?
      Of course the thermal from the dustdevil continues up to the inversion and becomes less violent with altitude.
      I am sure this was a dustdevil, at least at the bottom.

      Yep. I have no idea where he got the idea that dust devils are responsible for creating clouds.

      Me too but actuallt the higher you are the more time you have to fix any problems that might occur, and plenty of time to therow out the emergency parachute

    Did you know that a dust devil's wind maximum is 80mph. Yeah, that's enough power to lift you off the ground.

    • @markallen1711
      @markallen1711 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, a dust devil can become stronger, but if it does, it is called a landspout.

    • @Kcburnit
      @Kcburnit 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      there's a number of ways to achieve descent but you should really get trained on any of those techniques. they involve increasing the speed decreasing the wing surface and getting out of the thermal updraft. you can also perform Maneuvers such as wingovers to reduce altitude quickly

    • @licespray
      @licespray 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yeah im not going to attempt it without doing a full course first :)

    • @mbrunnme
      @mbrunnme 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In case anyone is looking for some answers: Speedbar, trims, spirals, wingovers, big ears, all will increase your descent rate.

    Isent a dust devil a tornado from dust particles ?

    • @kristapssmalkais3266
      @kristapssmalkais3266 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheGamingProj3ct228 no their from heat

    • @luvsparky2867
      @luvsparky2867 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dust devils are from strong heat in a particular area

    • @barrymorse8810
      @barrymorse8810 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you're basically correct. A dust devil has both strong lift and extremely fast rotation. Close to the ground, they often pick up dust and debris - hence the name "dust devil.". The lift at this stage of the video appears to be a strong thermal without violent rotation.

    • @XCFlyingBlog

      Mattyew True, thats why you need to check prior and generally stay away from clouds, also there were others in the air and we notify each other if we see something. But yes, cloud flying should be avoided.

      @@XCFlyingBlog So a parasail buddy is going to tell you from a distance that there is an airplane headed your way and expect you to do anything about it? Don't know about the Middle East, but in the U.S. cloud separation standards are there for everyone's safety, although somehow I doubt you would care.
