Ive been recently diagnosed at 35. Most of the time it’s just a constant throbbing in my entire Arm. The only thing that stops the pain is cannabis, which is ironic as it got worst when I quit and the pain sent me to the ER.
Thank you for explaining so simply. If the rheumatoid factor is present does the rheumatologist only go off blood work to determine rheumatoid. Told primary Sjogrens and osteoarthritis but not rheumatoid. Symptoms chart I fall more into rheumatoid. Trying to determine if Sjogrens is primary or secondary. Then there’s the fibromyalgia and neuropathy that contribute to symptoms which all seem to overlap. Can’t find your video link for the RA vs OA. Had hashimotos for many years and then Sjogrens beyond dry mouth. Love your videos, very informational 🙏
I supposedly have RA , for probably 20 years . Lately I developed a lump on my arm just above the elbow crease , the next week I developed another lump in the elbow crease on the other arm. I went to doctor and they did a scan and said they were nothing . I still have the lumps after a year and no idea what it is ….I am assuming it is RA because it is symmetrical. I hate going to the doctor S they dismiss my concerns all the time
Thank you. Would you please make a video about RA and becoming Septic? How dangerous? For 30 years I've had RA, then came along Hashimoto's, Cushing's, more recently, Drug-induced Lupus. I'm 63 yo. My mother had RA. All my life, RA has been stalking me to this point in my life. My fingers and toes are twisted, all major joints need replaced.
Can you have rheumatoid arthritis with a positive RF and a positive CCP and also get another auto immune disease? I sometimes have neuromuscular symptoms with associated weakness muscular pain, and severe stiffness.. thank you for all you do❤
I'm dealing with the same symptoms. My rheumatologist has told me absolutely you can have more than 1 auto immune disease. We are on the hunt for what is causing the neuro symptoms I am having.
I too have this along with unanswered questions. I’d think so, I have other conditions but no idea what symptoms belong to what and in the end just grouped into one being autoimmune system. They all seem to fall under the umbrella of connective tissue disease. My rheumatologist would mention connective tissue as well as the Sjogrens and fibromyalgia and I thought yet another condition but it covers all from my understanding.
Dr. Ortiz, with a high number of 47 for Anti-CCP Ab, IgG,/IgA, however there is no Rheumatoid Factor, can this still point to having an autoimmune disease such as RA? Thank you.
Do you have symmetrical swelling in the small joints in your hands and feet? Do you have morning stiffness more than 15 minutes after waking? Do you have fatigue? Those are all signs of RA. Blood tests do not mean much.

I have rheumatoid factor of 468iu/mL(Imp). What does this mean? Is this very high? I have all symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis . So worried 😟
