Very nicely explained. The audio file being separated is great for importing to Descript for sound adjustment and script for adding subtitles. I still need to practice with some settings and then I can hopefully create something worthwhile.

If I record a whole presentation with talking, powerpoints, videos, and then want to share it via Zoom/fb would I just do a screen share of the recording as the Premier at the appointed time? This is for a Christmas Eve church service that I would like to pre-record and then "show" on Christmas eve.
Everytime I share my screen the audio quality becomes choppy and matallic in Zoom. I teach drawing and this only happens on my new pc, so my set up is exactly the same on my old pc where there is no audio problem. I use a Logitech camera as my microphone and the camera app on my pc for showing me drawing. Any tips. I seem to have exhausted my options for finding a resolution for this.
I stumbled upon this feature about a month and a half ago when I was trying to figure out a good way to prepare tutorials. It's pretty great. The only issue that I have is that you cannot screen record the zoom chat.. So when I want to put up some notes for my students to see in the chat I just opened a notepad app and I use that. Yeah, it's a mess on my screen ultimately, but my students are quite forgiving.

I've been learning to record screen and have encountered a problem, when I've attached an external monitor/projector to surface pro 7 (Windows 10 2004 update) and I'm annotating with a MS surface pen while screen recording. My computer will disconnect from, the fail to recognize, the external monitor/projector. Anyone else find this to be true? Solutions? I noticed that in this video Kevin annotates (with mouse?). I think, that one solution may be to start the zoom recording first and then attach the external...Does that make any sense as a solution? I hope so, because I plan to try it in class today!

Do I need to do anything to improve the video quality of my recording? What Zoom automatically saved was very low-res.
