- From Mr Robot Season 1 Episode 1 "eps1.0_hellofriend.mov" Socially inept Elliot Alderson works at cyber security company Allsafe. At night, he hacks social media, personal information, and bank records, including those of his co-workers, therapist, and a drug dealer. Elliot stops a DDoS attack against Allsafe's biggest client, E Corp. He identifies a file labeled fsociety00.dat and a text file asking him not to destroy malware he finds hidden on E Corp's server. Mr. Robot, the mysterious leader of the hacker group fsociety, contacts Elliot on the subway. Fsociety invites Elliot to join them in starting a digital revolution; they plan to delete all debt records held by E Corp. He is intrigued and eventually agrees. As his first collaborative act with fsociety, Elliot provides the FBI with an encrypted file falsely implicating Terry Colby, E Corp's own chief technology officer (CTO) as the orchestrator of the attack.

Something I have noticed the second time I saw the show is that just the body language of the fsociety members indicate that it's only Elliot. At 4:33, Romero only sees Elliot and does not even notice Mr. Robot. At the first watch, you might be thinking he is checking the new guy, but he literally has no idea Mr. Robot is there. Latter that episode, when Elliot and Mr. Robot are discussing the plan, you can see Darlene and Trenton looking at him weirdly and kind of scarred. Yet again, you might be thinking they are checking the new guy, but they are literally looking like they are seeing a crazy person.
Yeah Darlene and Trenton only look back at him only when Elliot's talking.
You can tell this show was written backwards. So much foreshadowing, even in the very first episode.

00:29 This scene with the zoom in to "Mr Robot" always gives me chills. To me it resembles a beginning of a new era and how that one meeting changes everything.

The director, producers, and especially the actors do a masterful job, with the utmost subtlety of showing Elliot's psychosis. GREAT cast! Malek and Slater, have an really good chemistry, as does the rest of the cast. GREAT show!

This was in fact the pilot, which was pitched to the networks or whatnot. Most of the time pilots aren't aired, and are reshot (e.g.: Full House, where it was nearly the exact same episode, shot-for-shot, line-for-line, except a different actor played Danny Tanner).
Notice when Mr. Robot is taking to Elliot everyone in the room is shooting odd looks, especially Darlene. During the big reveal episode, Darlene asks Elliot “Who do you think you’ve been talking to?”.
From other’s point of view Elliot is just a guy blabbering to himself.
This tv show catches you, sence the first episode, it's incredible

sad to say but there is no more story tell tell. Sam said story is finished. I'd rather have it end as it did on a high note than dragging in to long to lose it's magic.
@@hexiy_dev there is no new story the mastermind alter has already fullfilled his purpose, he made the world better hes not coming back new seasons would ruin the ending.
Yeah its always better to give a amazing ending to a story other than extending it to infinite just like those indians tele dramas.😇

It became so special to me, I want to rewatch it again. Maybe even with someone else’s company.

I don't recall anything otherwise about Edward going to jail.
I don’t think we learn that but with DID, each personality can be “their own person”. They can have their own stories independent of the others.
