Refurbishing an old alloy that would fail an MOT!

  • I have an old alloy that is in very poor condition and wouldn’t pass an MOT inspection due to a fracture on the inside of the rim. I’m going to have the fracture repaired and then have the entire alloy refurbished with a brand new tyre before fitting back to the vehicle.
    I’ll also be discussing key facts regarding the overall condition of the old tyre including a hidden defect and low tread depth. I’ll be referring to specific information on how your tyres may have an impact on the outcome of your cars annual MOT inspection and whether it would pass or fail!
