      I also liked it. It felt very safe for a solo female traveller. I especially liked that men were so respectful towards women most of the time

    In “Occupying Chairlifts” a simple rule tweak on inheritance ends up changing the direction and purpose of modern human life! Here’s a fair way to transition forward to where we’re rewarded for cooperating and creating instead of competing and conquering.
    It's something specific we can demand. If this isnt the best answer, at least we’re thinking about what might be. Are we really just this close to having it work right?
    Oh yeah, it's a Ski movie! “Occupying Chairlifts” on TH-cam!

    Hate to say this, but I grew up in Dubai, and he's right. It is largely built on borderline slave labor, the workers are ripped off but have to work for their families overseas.

  • @aviefern
    @aviefern 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    He's being kinda honest. While not everyone living there is devoid of humanity, the culture is very materialistic and exploits south asian indentured servitude. There are many NGOs struggling to bring the human rights violations to light.

    You are right. I don't believe it is the best way, but this is reality. UAE takes care of their citizens since they are only 18% of the population. And just like all other countries throughtout all of history did, they didnt treat foreigners too well. Hitler, Palestinians, Blacks in America, North and SOuth Korea, etc. Treating them a little lesser beings is something I can live by compared to what HAS happened. =) I am just discussing, not disagreeing.

  • @player174043

    says the person with a country that was established upon the death of millions of natives. And fyi, they aren't enslaved, those who get visas are considered really lucky by other Indians(or whereever they are from). Also, because of a few crappy agents does not mean the country was built by slave labor, they have rights and their embassies makes sure of that. Oh and i'm from Bahrain btw, the island where nearly 40% of the population are foreigners (if not more) so i know what i'm saying.

    Not to mention the heat...50 degrees centigrade at times....insanity..hats off to Sheikh Al Makhtoom , he is a genius for getting people to come there...this guy as they say can sell ice to Eskimos....or sand to ......?

    Great. There is tons of new construction. It still doesn't hide the fact, that there is nothing else to look at in the country. Nice new city. Horribly ugly country. If I wanted to see sand all day, I'd stare at a litter box.

How can you compare dubai with real Cities? and if there is something real about Dubai, apart from the sand, is that we are capable of amazing things but only for MONEY, no real Humans there only sad souls trying to feel good about being special and rich. Spend the money feeding the world if you want to feel special.....Sad
