Very nicely done with great close-ups! How I wish I was there! 😢😢 Unfortunately, I live nearly 7.000 miles away and I am not wealthy! 😭😭 Thank you very much for uploading it! Cheers!
Nice but this is "afternoon tea", not "high tea." Sounds like "high" should describe a fancy formal tea, but it's actually the working man's "tea" with more savory food.
Not just "middle class" tea, it is also enjoyed by higher echelons of society but it is different. It is a real meal. And this one is definitely afternoon tea, not high tea. But people tend to use the term in order to make it sound more fancy but in reality they don't know what it means.
Supongo que estará haciendo una exposición de lo que se degusta, pero si alguien no está acostumbrado a tomar así el té, no entenderá nada. Mezcla sándwich, pastel, tarta, bollitos... uf.
It is a meal, sitting down, at a table, with substantial food, meat and vegetables, eaten at about 6 p.m., usually followed by a pot of tea and bread and maybe some cake. Afternoon Tea - we just say Tea is at about 4 p.m. and there might be sandwiches, cake and scones or maybe just tea (the drink !). The two kinds of Tea are quite different.
Just gorgeous 💖💗 🏨 hotel preserve,so proudly for staying🎉🎉

P.S. The interiors of the Hotel Ritz are reminescent of those Grand Hotel La Fonte in Fiuggi, Italy
Beautiful 🌹

I think afternoon tea is cakes sandwiches etc, high tea is when a hot savoury item is included x
@@lynnhristov205 Yeah, that's what said...
😊 when in the day, the high tea is served?
@@ioup5875 From what I’ve seen, usually between 4 pm and 6 pm historically.
Bene! Next: British High Tea
Ritz London
Greteeings from Roma, Italy
That's a lot of desserts. Would it be gauche to ask for a left over box?
I don't like square tableware because it looks modern.

What is high tea as opposed to just afternoon tea? Maybe that will be answered in the vlog.
