E-Trade won't pull a GameStop on you like Robinhood did. Robinhood doesn't have the power ether or capital. E-Trade is just safer for your hard earned money I think.

I'm with etrade and my commission fees are only $4.99 not $6.99. Plus you should point out that fees are deductions against capital gains tax so discussing the fees isn't a big deal if you make thousands of dollars in gains. The only benefit to robin hood is fractional share purchases.
Any single Limit Buy / Sell Order types in E-Trade covering both Market & After Market hours ? ie, a single order type that will be placed / active from 7am to 8pm for 60 days ? Robinhood has such order types (extended hours). thank you for your response..
I am new to this game. I bought some stocks, somehow I managed to sell them (still don't know how I did it) and the money appears as "Net Asset". However, it is not purchase money!!!. How do I convert the "asset money" into purchase money? Had I known how bad the etrade customer service is, I probably wouldn't start this game. Whenever I call them, I am being kept on the line fr 2 hrs and then lady tells me she will transfer me to broker who never picks the phone! Outrageous! Would someone help me with this guagmire, please?

Great video - nice and clear and easy to understand! One note for your end screen: It covers important information you are giving at the very end. You could just edit the end screen and move the left video further to the left and it'll be fixed. I recommend (and make this choice with all my current vids on my channel: I leave 6 seconds of black at the end for the sole purpose of the end screen. Keep up the helpful and great work!

Customer service with E*Trade is bad, minus Platinum status members. Also, slow deposit times (2-4 business days). Every other thing about E*Trade is very good. Good execution speed on option trades, frequent option trade discount, good charts, low expense ratio index mutual funds from Charles Schwab or Vanguard for IRAs, fractional shares for the top 100 ETFs, a variety of IRA accounts, a custodial account, and a high interest savings account.

E Trade does everything including Fidelity funds. Robinhood has a lot of not supported stocks but does have fractional shares.
At least Robinhood's website works, Etrade glitches, refuse to let you transfer for no reason, and you can't log back in if you delete your cookies.

Good vid! I was considering switching to e trade but I like buying fractional shares so that kind of ruins it.
1 or 2 hour long hold time to get Etrade customer service.
Poor service after it was taken over by Morgan Stanley.
I have Etrade for individual stocks, options and short-term trading and Fidelity for Roth IRA and HSA. Vanguard with employer 401k.
