Alliances, border selection, bundle datamines, and series drops are discussed and debated. Alongside that is a detailed discussion of the upcoming cards from the Deadpool season this summer. Speed - 1 cost - on reveal : "Cut your opponents turn timer in half" ... auto include in all my conquest decks
I love how much you all go over in this - from the month cards to the datamines, alot of great information. I missed out on Red Guardian who feels replaceable but nice in the toxic deck as an on theme tech card
25:37 I think we need a milestone achievements for some of this borders, where you need yo get wins or cubes to unlock them for each card, example you get 100 wins with SpiderMan you unlock a Bronze border,, 200 Wins Silver border and so on. If you like this idea keep sharing it
I think character mastery will introduce this
Hulkling…6/8…on reveal: +2 power gains for each of your cards that gained/increased power on the board compared to their base power
This is the first time I finished one of these interviews, but I had to finish this one. 2 of my personal favorites with Glazer and STG are here. This episode also included Gunny T and Gregor, man it was great. Funny thing, on the Marvel Snap reddit, someone came up a long time ago with Young Avengers concept cards. It was before all the recent power creep, but the concepts were pretty cool: Hulkling (8/10): -1 cost for each card in your hand. Another was Wiccan (2/4): ongoing: your max hand is increased by 1.
I would love to see a possible location manipulation ability from Wiccan, or maybe combo an additional token generator that could assist Thor "archetype" instead? Other than Wiccan, I am intrigued on how SD will depict the psychic powers of Marvel Boy, I honestly believe he will have the most interesting design. Much appreciation for the google slides link as well! Thanks Glazer and team!
I want a card to be able to block the opponent from escaping. Another interesting trait for a pair of rival cards would be to add/remove points for cards in play determined by whether they are hero or villain.

Maybe Hulkling could have this ability: "on reaveal: copy the last on reaveal card's text played by the opponent". A mix between aborbing man and superskrull
I think Kate Bishop 1/0 or 2/1 and every time you play a card in her location, one of her arrows abilities activates.
Great discussion. Other games I’ve played only allow one “alliance” so that’s an interesting question

I'm not familiar with the characters but Hulkling is apparently a shape shifter so interested to see how they transfer that to the gameplay!
I think i would like wiccan to have the ability to bind the enemy cards here to be like ongoing: enemy cards here can't be moved

I love the Young Avengers lineup, but Kate Bishop seems like the most fun card of the season if she gets the Nico mechanic. I think I saw she has a PYM arrow and a toxic arrow (two more maybe), so giving her the ability to be random but spread -1 to all enemy cards with the toxic or +1 with the pym to your cards would be so fun. And the graphics for the arrows shooting seem like they would be great

Oh man! Love the young avengers. I would say: Prodigy - his ability would be “on reveal: copy the ability of the last card played by your opponent”. He would be a 3 cost 2 power? Seems okay! lol
I like STG's idea for Speed to be a card that gives you priority
Marvelboy 3/0 - Turn your weakest card into your opponent's strongest card, your opponent's strongest card turns into the weakest card on your playing field
Kate Bishop could be reverse Hawkeye (+X when played in the same location as last card played, that would make a crazy bounce Hawkeye/Kate combo
I’m kind of obsessed with the Young Avengers and Wiccan is easily among my favorite marvel characters ever so here’s a few of my favorite custom cards I’ve thought of for them:
*Speed 1/1 On Reveal: +1 Max energy. If this leaves the board -2 Max Energy.
(Anti-bounce and balances with Killmonger unless you Armor early)
Wiccan 1/1 On Reveal: Remove the ability from the farthest left card in your hand. If you do, change this location.
(They’re twins so they have to share the same stats, excellent synergy with Agatha)
Hulkling 6/10 While this card is in your hand or on your side of the board +3 Power each time a location is changed (not including revealing new location at the start of the game).
(Keeps the Hulk family remaining in 6/X category while having synergy with his husband)
Marvel Boy 3/3 Each time this card is afflicted with -1 Power, it gains +2 Power.
(Basically you buff the card by the same amount you’d be giving it negative normally, so if you inflicted it with -2 it would after get +4 netting you a total of +2)

Guys, I loved alat weeks tournaments, and I'm glad you all teemed up and I like the show, however, for me, 9 minutes of introducts is a bit mutch.
Cable needs a nerf, Show both players the card! Also, nerf Kill monger or make 6 cost that Kills every 3 cost. Bs 1 card kills whole dex.

Glazer preaching. ive often thought to myself that KMBEST sounds like he is in his own echo tunnel and other top 100 same thing for the very reason you detail. you really are an guy that analyzes things in a similar way to me. why i always appreciate your commentary most.
On Grant Morrison........... so much good work but for me stil my #1 is Arkham Asylum. paired with the art. to me this is a work of art for all time. And the letters by each villain at the end are such a stroke of genius........... obviously Young avengers. New x-men and so much more are all iconic as well.
Oh yeah, stoked for the Young Avengers! Wiccan and Hulkling is my favourite marvel couple (after Gambit/Rogue of course).
Hulkling can gain power when opponent's cards in play gain power (maybe restricted to the lane he is), which should reflect his morphing powers pretty ok.
And I hope Wiccan will have some location-based powers like his mother! Maybe turning one location into a copy of another already in play.
Nice episode, everyone had great synergy, it was fun and funny. And that ending just kept getting more and more wholesome, I love it
Also, here's my idea for the Young Avenger card, already based on the card leak:
Kate Bishop (2/0): At the end of each turn, Kate cycles through her quiver and shoot an arrow.
Basic Arrow: Afflict an enemy card here with -1 power.
Acid Arrow: The next card to enter your opponent's side of this location is afflicted with -1 power.
Grapple Arrow: This turn, you can move one card to this location.
Pym Arrow: Add a Rock to your opponent’s side of this location.
Kate Bishop - 3/1 - Shuffles the arrows into your deck. When a arrow is play in her location, gains +2 power
Acid arrow - inflict -2 to one card in this location
Basic arrow - buffs one allied card with +1 power in this location
Grapple arrow - pulls an arrow card to this location and activate his effect again
Pym arrow - (I don't know!!! hahahaha out of ideas right now. But maybe) send to opponents side 1 shrinked arrow
Speed: 1/2, Speed can move once per turn. For every 2 moves, Speed gains +1
I would like one of the young avengers Speed to absorb negative power and make it positive.
Speed. 3/1 - can move every turn/ drains 3 energy on arriving at new location
Speed: 1 cost and „On Reveal: Your opponent has -1 Energy next turn.“
My understanding of Marvel mostly comes from the movies or Marvel series on Disney+, so honestly, I hardly know any of the Young Avengers’ characters.
The only one I’m familiar with is Kate Bishop because she appeared in the Hawkeye series. From the current datamined information, it seems she has a variety of different arrows, maybe she’ll be another Nico.
However, I hope she’ll have a different design, like adding a different function arrow to her hand each turn or having arrows that interact with each other in different ways.

I don't know these characters, but Wikipedia says that Wiccan is very powerful and can manipulate reality like his mother. I wish this card did not allow you to change the location, blocking cards like Legion and Nocturne. A reverse-scarlet witch

Wiccan 3/6 , on reveal add left side 1 of your card 4 power , deduct right side 1 of your card 4 power

I hope Wiccan acts like a cross between Scarlet Witch and Nico where he rotates between a handful of set locations he will change the played location to. So it removes the randomness of Scarlet Witch with a small set of locations you can somewhat plan around.
Don’t know much about the Young Avengers but saw that Kate Bishop was datamined with arrows, based on the names I’m thinking one is a random ongoing affliction to an enemy card (poison), one is a power boost to the next card you play (pym), one allows you to move an enemy card (grappling), and one deals one-time damage to an enemy card at her location (basic).
Not familliar with Young avengers but they all look cool, especially Hawkeye girl because she has all those cool arrows, I think she will be simillar to Nico just affecting your opponents cards

A card that shuffles the location of every card on the board. Anything that created more chaos
Speed - 2/3 On Reveal: You have priority for the next two turns, the opponent has priority for the two after.
Speed 2-2, can move once each turn, whichever location it moves to, opponent can play only 1 card max there next turn

Your gonna have to make people captains for the co alliances. But it should at least be 50-100 people per alliance. But most games I’ve played on mobile you could only be in one alliance

Wiccan Should be able to say cast a spell that? I actually reduced the amount of turns in a game, but the opposite of magik

Hulking - 5/5. On Reveal Morph to gain the power of your opponents last played card. Gives opponent something to work around last turn.
Punishes Greedy Players, if they drop a huge red Hulk last turn with prio or other large 6 drops.
Combined his Skrull Origin with the potential for Hulk Power.
Speed: 1 cost 3 power. Ability: whenever you end your turn with 1 energy left, play this card at a random location.

Marvel Boy 5/8 - On reveal: Give your other cards at this location +2 power and lose 1 for each buffed card. Great talk btw!
Kate Bishop. 2/2 On reveal : Discard the most left card in your hand.
Speed - 1 cost - ongoing - The timer for each player only lasts for 5 seconds
Maybe for speed something akin to mbaku but he reveals from your deck after turn 3 or something. Maybe too strong with the deck thinning tho.
I reckon Hawkeye (Kate) would be the season pass card for that month!
I wouldn't mind seeing Wiccan as a 2-3 hybrid of Scarlet Witch and Nico Minoru. Can change a lane into 1 of 4 randomly rotated unique lanes.

Idk about young avengers, but hulking incoming so i think he could be used if enemy didnt use energy in some turn of something.

i have no creativity, but maybe Speed could automatically move to every other available location with space every time you play another young avengers card (tribal mechanic?)
I am interesting in seeing what SD comes up with for all the Young avengers. I want Wiccan as a reality warping mage to be like Nico but all the spells have some Location warping effects
I find myself losing more games due to location then the cards my opponent actually plays do you think location have to much power over who loses and wins games
