I hope Marvel Rivals is so good that Blizzard is forced to go back to 6v6 cause they'll die if they don't. This is so much better to watch. That widow (Discrete) was the perfect example of how positioning really matters and playing with your team. This was the game I fell in love with. The best part about 6v6 is you can play practically any hero you want and impact the game.

They’ve obviously he balanced for an official launch. But characters have always had passives. Shimada’s can all wall climb, venture generates shield, doom overhealth, junker queen bleed, tracer genji faster walk speed, etc. The idea of more passives making it into the game is definitely not bad

I think passives have added a dynamic to balancing which makes it more difficult balance. Especially when 5v5 is already difficult to balance and have all three roles be fun. Passives just need to go and the need to role back the power creep. I feel like the choose-able passives are just things to bring the game back to being fair, when they could just role back power creep.

@@praetorianplays I don’t think people understand what they mean when they say “ passive” hanzo kiri and genji all have the passive ability to wall climb and double jump for genji. Doomfist generates overhealth from his abilities and junker queen has bleed which are both passives. Genji and tracer both have higher walk speed. Lucio’s skates are a passive. The idea passives shouldn’t exist is and can’t be balanced is dumb.
What you are actually complaining about is role based passives. Bc it assumes ever tank or every dps has the exact same problem that can be fixed with the exact same passive

@@brycenb2994 You are correct, I meant to say role passives. I never said can't. But when you have role passives that don't affect the hero pool evenly, it makes it more difficult to balance. I think role passives was just a way to keep up with power creep.
