The goat channel, I learned a lot from watching your guys videos, and I took my spey rod out last weekend and did super well casting mostly cause of you guys! The holding the line on your butt section of the rod was game changer.
Recently started fishing for steelhead here in southern Oregon. Caught my first on my indicator set up. Now it’s been nothing but swinging flies. Summer run isn’t great yet but I’m determined! Thanks for all the great videos. I’ve learned a ton from you guys.
That’s awesome Tyler, keep at it! We took a trip down to the rogue in 2022 and got into a couple fish. Keep us posted! We wanna here about the first swing fish 🤘
Great film! I used to fish that Klamath section and above about a mile for many year and it’s a blast. Put a weighted size 6 Brindle style bug on your Scandi with a clear intermediate polly-leader and listen to your Hardy sing 😊
@@savageandsmith If you guys can make it all the way up to the tail out pool below Rivers West Lodge it can be some amazing tail out swing fishery. Fishes well from either side of the river. Also, just below the tail out that run is awesome when the fisher in there. Again fished well from both sides. Use a Brindle bug or some for of buggy nymph. Good luck!!
Just came back from the Clearwater just in time to relax and watch your video. Already planning my next trip . Going to check out your Spey camp looks like a fun time . Thanks for the ride
@@TheLostOutdoorsman slow , the weather was hot 100° and smoky , but we knew we were a little early , fish are moving up . Your timing will be perfect a front was moving in and it was raining and cool when we left Friday .Good luck
@@savageandsmith wish I had more summer run opportunities closer to me. Went to the Skeena this summer and landed my two first steelhead on the spey. Going to be hard to wait until winter.
Great to see you guys back
