    so glad to see a professional enjoy jade like I do. I had a plant given to me 30 years ago. Now I have too many trees to count. I try not to use the cuttings but I cannot help myself.

    You didn't tell us how long it takes to get the jade forest from cutting to a proper forest and how old is your middle size forest?

    What is the age difference between the largest one you showed and the one you just pruned back?

    • @WeareTheBonsaiSupply
      @WeareTheBonsaiSupply  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Michael! The large forest each tree is now about 6-8 years old and the little forrest I just pruned back is around 2 years old from cuttings.

    Got a question. Living in Thailand and am a beginner Bonsai enthusiast and have purchased a number of Japanese Black Pines and the needles on some of them have Disthoma (spelling / needle blight), what is the best treatment of this? Best fungicides(s)? Do I need to separate the affected plants form the non affected ones or does the blight just affect single plants and does not easily spread to nearby plants? Any info you can provide is appreciated.

    hey jerome, thanks for another video. what is the largest piece of a jade that could root? does it work well with hardened branches? could i cut a 1.5 inch tree in half and put the top half in soil & expect it to grow?

    Do you ever need to change pot for this forest? Can they always stay in same pot? Or when do you know it’s time to change to bigger pot? Thank you

    for the tree shown at about 4 minutes, just for example, would it be possible to string them together slowly and eventually fuse them?

    Is your bonsai soil reusable, or should it be tossed into the compost bin

    • @WeareTheBonsaiSupply
      @WeareTheBonsaiSupply  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey 👋🏻 I generally reuse the soil for cuttings and seedlings, seeds, etc. for bonsai I use fresh soil every time
