    I used the keiki paste on my 3 different types of Jade plants and boy did it work!!! My variegated Jade busted out new growth at every single spot where I put it. Too bad I can’t post photos here!

    Hi Jeff! I majorly pruned my 12" bowl ofjade. You gave me the inspiration do it! Lots of thicker woody stems. After about a month there's a ton of new growth. I think the overall effect will be a small forest as opposed to one tree. Yours are beautiful!!!

    I've got some older jade plants (6-7 years old) with nice woody stems. But, I've neglected them for several years and I know they would benefit from pruning, even though I'm late! It's mid June.
    Yeah, it's a little scary, although I've done it before with good results. The thing is, ending up with way more cuttings than I care to deal with. I wish I could find some way to give all of the cuttings a home.

    You are the Jade master. 🙌 When you prune, do you find that any new leaves grow from bare nodes? Or once the leaves fall off, that node is done making leaves? I lost quite a few Jade leaves from thrips, mealies, and the treatment. Thankfully pest free now. 🤞

    • @salem_meow7137
      @salem_meow7137 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’ve found that you tend to get a few nodes producing leaves like this at once. The trunk of my jade has been looking pretty bare for the last two years but I’ve moved it into a sunnier spot and suddenly I’ve got growth from about 10 nodes where leaves have fallen off in the past

    I pruned back my jade pretty heavily late last summer and the leaves that grew back have their edges curled under, almost like a Gollum. Not sure if it needs water or it will eventually grow out of it but the plant otherwise seems healthy.
