Dont use cut paste on cutwounds. PA's are succulents and need to dry out on the cut part because they contain alot of water. Otherwise it gets moist underneat the paste and can start to molt/rot

I did a major cut on another PA I have and the wound rotated a bit. I would think this would help from not allowing that to happen again

Dude, just subscribed to your channel. Love the enthusiasm, like a kid in a candy shop. Exactly how i feel about bonsai😂 hard yo believe that is a better tree but for damn sure it will be, its that old saying "start ugly early". I have a willow leaf ficus like that, mushroom shape, no lines. Cant get myself to butcher it up yet lol. Looking forward to more content from you

😂😂 each project is a different adventure ! How can I not be excited !
I did the same thing with one of my willows. If you don’t like the mushroom look, take the time and make the change. You’ll be happy with it after. After may be a year lmao

Hey Eros, I’m kinda new to your channel and I work with Jade and Portulacaria afra for bonsai in WA,USA. I appreciate the succulent bonsai content. Keep up the great work.

Hi. I have a few Portulacaria afras and look at a lot of videos about the species, so I guess that's why your video came up on my feed. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the video and I totally see the improvement that you've made to that tree. I've subbed and look forward to seeing updates in the next few months and years. Can we see the other tree that you mentioned, please?

Thank you for the beautiful comment. I’m glad to hear that you too have yourself a collection. I will for sure be sharing the other trees in the near future. Thank you for sticking around!

Branching and generally up top it looks good. However, the twisted (non radial) roots bothers me slightly but maybe you thinking of addressing that later? cheers😊
