You are right all that was a divine play. The six sons of Devaki were in their previous lives sons of Kalanemi and grandsons of Hiranyakashyapa, they worshipped Lord Brahma. If he wouldn't keep them together who would give kamsa the children .Even if he wouldn't keep them together wasn't it possible for devaki to have sons as kunti had ?
