What's up yall! I wanted to pin a comment here just to briefly apologize for not pausing the video to speak more. I became so entranced by the content that the time just flew by and before I knew it the video was already over! I feel like I should've done more to make this content my own rather than just quietly sit and absorb. I had a wonderful time reacting to this and I hope you enjoy the video, just know that I've taken a mental note to be better about pausing and speaking more frequently to ensure I'm making my own content and not just taking from others' hard work. Please do check out the original video link in the description to give Indian Monk the views they deserve as well. Thank you all for being here, PEACE OUT!

Actually all these are not separate from the concept of Brahman. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are just manifestation of the concept of Brahman. When Brahman creates it becomes Brahma, when Brahman preserve it becomes Vishnu and when Brahman does destruction it becomes Shiva. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are just Manifestation of Brahman. It's like the same actor playing different roles. So one can worship Shiva or Vishnu which indirectly connects them to Brahman as they're just manifestation of Brahman. One can worship Brahman directly and this knowledge is called Advaita Vedantic Philosophy. Advaita means "Not Two", in other words everything is "One"... This one is called Brahman or Parabrahman or Paramathma or Ultimate Soul or Ultimate Reality. Our individual souls are just part of this ultimate soul. And this everything is not only human beings but everything in actual sense. This includes all human beings, animals, plants, planets, stars, galaxies, universe, multiple dimensions within the universe, multiverse, beyond multiverse, mass, energy, space, time, zero, infinity and everything in between.

The Hindu metrics of time (Kaala Vyavahara) can be summarized as below:
    • a Lipta (लिप्ता) is approximately 0.4 seconds
    • a Vighati (विघटि) is 60 Liptas, or approximately 24 seconds
    • a Ghadika (घटि) is 60 Vighatis, or approximately 24 minutes
    • a Muhurta is equal to 2 Ghadikas, or approximately 48 minutes
    • a Nakshatra ahoratram (नक्षत्र अहोरत्रम्) or sidereal day is exactly equal to 30 Muhurtas (Note: A day is considered to begin and end at sunrise, not midnight.)
An alternate system described in the Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III is as follows:
    100 Truti = 1 Tatpara
    30 Tatpara = 1 Nimesha
    15 Nimeshas = 1 Kásht́há
    30 Kásht́hás = 1 Kalá
    30 Kalás = 1 Kṣaṇa
    12 Kṣaṇa = 1 Muhúrtta
    30 Muhúrttas = 1 day (24 hours)
    30 days = 1 month
    6 months = 1 Ayana
2 Ayanas = 1 year or one day (day + night) of the gods
Small units of time used in the Vedas
    • a Trasarenu is the combination of 6 celestial atoms.
    • a Truti is the time needed to integrate 3 Trasarenus, or 1/1687.5th of a second.
    • a Vedha is 100 Trutis.
    • a Lava is 3 Vedhas.
    • a Nimesha is 3 Lavas, or a blink.
    • a Kshanas is 3 Nimeshas.
    • a Kashthas is 5 Kshanas, or about 8 seconds.
    • a Laghu is 15 Kashthas, or about 2 minutes.
15 Laghus make one Nadika, which is also called a danda. This equals the time before water overflows in a six-pala-weight [fourteen ounce] pot of copper, in which a hole is bored with a gold probe weighing four masha and measuring four fingers long. The pot is then placed on water for calculation.
    2 Dandas make one Muhurta.
6 or 7 Dandas make one Yamah, or 1/4th of a day or night.
4 Praharas or 4 Yamas are in each day or each night.
    LUNAR METRICS
a tithi (also spelled thithi ) or lunar day is defined as the time it takes for the longitudinal angle between the moon and the sun to increase by 12°. Tithis begin at varying times of day and vary in duration from approximately 19 to approximately 26 hours.
a paksa (also paksha) or lunar fortnight consists of 15 tithis
a masa or lunar month (approximately 29.5 days) is divided into 2 pakshas: the one between new moon and full moon is called gaura (bright) or shukla paksha; the one between full moon and new moon krishna paksha
    a ritu is 2 masa
    an ayanam is 3 rituhs
    a year is 2 Aayanas
    TROPICAL METRICS
    a Yaama (याम) = 1/4th of a day(light) or night [ = 7½ Ghatis (घटि) = 3¾ Muhurtas (मुहूर्त) = 3 Horas (होरा) ]
4 Yaamas 1 half of the day (either day or night)
    8 Yaamas 1 day (day + night)
an Ahoratram is a tropical day (Note: A day is considered to begin and end at sunrise, not midnight.)
Reckoning of time among other entities
Reckoning of time amongst the pitrs (ancestors)
1 human day = 1/30 day of the pitrs (ancestors)
30 days of human is 1 month of human = 1 day of the pitrs
12 months of human = 1 year of the pitrs
The lifespan of the pitrs is 100 years of the pitrs (= 3,600 human years)
Reckoning of time amongst the Devas (Demi Gods/Elemental Gods)
1 human year = 1 day of the Devas (Demi Gods/Elemental Gods)
30 days of the Devas = 1 month of the Devas.
12 months of the Devas = 1 year of the Devas
The lifespan of the Devas is 100 years of the Devas (= 36,000 human years)
The Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III explains the above as follows:
2 Ayanas (six month periods, see above) = 1 year or one day (day + night) of the devas
360 days of the devas = 1 year of the devas
12,000 years of the devas = 4 Yugas
Reckoning of time for Brahma (Creator of the Material World)
12,000 years of the Devas = 1 day of Brahma (4320,000,000 human years). This day is divided into 10, 000 parts called charanas.
The charanas are divided as follows:
    The Four Yugas
4 charanas (1,728,000 solar years) Satya Yuga
3 charanas(1,296,000 solar years) Treta Yuga
2 charanas(864,000 solar years) Dwapara Yuga
1 charanas(432,000 solar years) Kali Yuga
The cycle repeats itself so altogether there are 1000 cycles of yugas in one day of Brahma.
One cycle of the above four yugas is one mahayuga (4.32 billion solar years)
A manvantara consists of 71 mahayugas (306,720,000 solar years). Each Manvantara is ruled by a Manu (The first man of every cycle)
After each manvantara follows one Sandhi Kala of the same duration as a Krita Yuga (1,728,000 = 4 Charana). (It is said that during a Sandhi Kala, the entire earth is submerged in water.)
A kalpa consists of a period of 1,728,000 solar years called Adi Sandhi, followed by 14 manvantaras and Sandhi Kalas.
    A day of Brahma equals
    (14 times 71 mahayugas) + (15 x 4 Charanas)
    = 994 mahayugas + (60 Charanas)
    = 994 mahayugas + (6 x 10) Charanas
    = 994 mahayugas + 6 mahayugas
    = 1000 mahayugas
as is confirmed by the Gita statement
    "sahasra-yuga paryantam ahar-yad brahmano viduH",
meaning, a day of brahma is of 1000 (maha-)yugas. Thus a day of Brahma, kalpa, is of duration: 4.32 billion solar years. Two kalpas constitute a day and night of Brahma
30 days of Brahma = 1 month of Brahma (259,200,000,000 human years)
12 months of Brahma = 1 year of Brahma (3,110,400,000,000 human years)
25 years of Brahma = 1 kalpa (77,760,000,000,000 human years)
    2 kalpas = 1 parardha (155,520,000,000,000 human years)
2 parardhas = 100 years of Brahma, the lifespan of Brahma (311,040,000,000,000 human years)
The Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III explains the above as follows:
360 days of the gods = 1 year of the gods
12,000 years of the gods = 4 Yugas
1,000 sets of 4 Yugas = a day of Brahmá
    50 years of Brahma = 1 Pararddham
    100 years of Brahma = 1 Param
    4,000 + 400 + 400 = 4,800 years = 1 Krita Yuga
    3,000 + 300 + 300 = 3,600 years = 1 Tretá Yuga
    2,000 + 200 + 200 = 2,400 years = 1 Dwápara Yuga
    1,000 + 100 + 100 = 1,200 years = 1 Kali Yuga
Alternately, the reigns of 7 Rishis, Indra and Manu = 1 Manwantara = 71x12,000+A (A is not given) = 852,000 years of the gods+A (A is not given)
    14 Manwantaras = a day of Brahmá
VEDIC TIME UNITS GREATER THAN A KALPA
Ancient vedic cosmology takes into account handful of time spans which are even greater than one Kalpa or a day of Brahma. One such unit is a "Maha-Kalpa" which is composed of 36000 such days of Brahma. One Maha-Kalpa is considered as the lifetime of Brahma. There are time units which are larger than one Maha-Kalpa. The largest of them has been calculated as several quadrillions of human years. This precise and massive calculations indicate one important aspect of vedic time system, that, whenever the term "Infinity" has been mentioned in Vedas, it does not indicate something very large. Instead, it appears that the term is meant to refer its literal synonym itself.

    In simpler terms -
Supreme divine has no face no forms ( yet he/she capable of forming it) called as parambrahm , the vaishnavs called it vishu , the shaiv called it shiv ,the shakt called it adishakti.
In this cosmos there are trillions of universe each having its trillions and trillions of galaxies each galaxies having its own solar systems , so our universe contain mother earth which is called bhulok, and there are 14 lokas like this, and all the incarnations of Vishnu , shiv , shakti happens in bhulok which is in middle at 7th place ,

@@amazingpeople9535if you think of mythology as stories then it will seem fake. But if you could take bits and pieces from that stories and put them together logically then it would definitely make sense.
The story I heard about how gods and asuras were born. A sage married 2 sister. One gave birth in the day. Those children Became gods. One gave birth at a no moon night. Those children Became asuras. Now if you see this as a story it's pure stupid. But if you think logically you'll see... The story describes how one man gave birth to both gods and asuras. That man represents humans. And both gods and asuras are a part of humans. Now it's upto us which side we choose. Light or dark.
Instead of making fun of any religion or blindly believing any try to question logically.. how and why. Then everything will make sense

Nasa recently found trace of cosmic ocean in space...
We had this scientific knowledge but it was only available for those who wants to gain knowledge those believed in god used to do Karma Yoga ( Karma yoga is a spiritual path in the Bhagavad Gita that encourages selfless action and detachment from the results of one's actions.) But those who wants to do Gyana Yoga (The Bhagavad Gita refers to jnana yoga as buddhi yoga, which is the path of knowledge.) used to study these all...
Knowledge was never binded in HInduism... It was always there.... The sad part is all of this was written in books but those books were burnt by a Muslim Invader in Takshila University by Bhaktiyar Khilji.. The takshila university consist almost 9 million manuscripts... It was kept burning for almost 6 months..

Lord Shiva knows even then she will be so strong earth will not be able to withstand her force so decides to bound her in his hair and only lets a small portion of it on to earth (which flows as Ganga).

let me tell you - there are two aspectes one is when we talk about universe as a whole or secondly universe in which we exist, Brahma , vishnu and mahesh are not humans, brahma is a phase of creation, vishnu is the phase where it stays and shiva is last stage where it gets destoryed , easy way to understand is you breath it starts when you inhslae then it stays when you keep it and then u exhale is shiva/mahesh, similar way it is the day start, stays and end. People get confused when they start considering it as these three phases as humans.

In Hinduism... All of these knowledge is stitched in the form of stories and personified so that generations and generations can remember it and utilise it once they are capable of it ... Some of the events like ramayan and Mahabharata are written and explained with details where it explains about soul birth death and all that are explained in such a simple story that these holds true as well as these stories are satisfying the curiosity of generation. All of these can't be just a mere coincidence

The story of Rama tells me that we can aspire, do great things - God Rama was born a Human being, He never said He was God & yet did what the Gods could not do - that is a message for us
And God Krishna tells us in the Mahabharata that God is a Teacher - "I will advice and instruct, but will not interfere" - explains the world around us

  • @gauthamvadlamudi3500
    @gauthamvadlamudi3500 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

First time coming to this channel enjoyed the video.
Just to clarify, Brahman is the source of all and is also beyond everything material.
And Lord Vishnu, Shiva, Sakti are the embodiments of different aspects of Brahman called as Parabrahman (Supreme divine).
Lord Maha Vishnu represents the pervasiveness, continuity, sustainence and preservation. Thus he is the personified form of the multiverse.
The energy of that binds all is the Adi Shakti (divine mother) who specifically precides over the material creation, and takes care of the Law of karma, material laws, as the mother nature, in the form of "Maha Maya" and "Durga".
Lord Sada Shiva is the root of everything created, who represents the "time" itself as "Kaala", who takes upon the duty of destruction as the "time" himself, both temporary and permanent destruction of the universe after each cycle.
Yet all these aspects of Brahman : Maha Vishnu, Sada Shiva and Adi Shakti are eternal, beyond space time, beyond material, beyond the Multiverse, who are beyond the material laws and law of Karma, and are transcendental, pure, full of consciousness, blissful and eternal.
The creation occurs in two stages: creation of each universe from the Eternal Maha Vishnu, then within the each universe Lord Brahma is born who starts thecreation of different living beings, five elements, five senses, five sense objects, five sensory perceptions, etc.
The Triad Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva will spawn inside each universe when it is created, where Vishnu and Shiva are the divine expansions of the eternal MahaVishnu and Sada Shiva.. where as Brahma is a Mortal (highly exemplified soul given the "position of Brahma" for each universe).
Shakti is the divine feminine aspect who literally expands as the universe itself, as Mother Nature called as "prakruti".
After the creation of each universe, Lord Maha Vishnu enters each universe as Lord Vishnu to sustain it and then Lord Brahma (Mortal with long life span) is born from a Lotus flower arising out of Lord Vishnu's navel. Then Lord Brahma empowered with the ability of creation after a very long meditation, starts the creation of all aspects of the universe, while Lord Sada Shiva and Goddess Adi Shakti divinely expand into each universe as Lord Shiva and Shakti: the time and energy of material nature to support this creation, while also Lord Maha Vishnu divinely expands into Lord Vishnu in each universe as the pervasive fabric that sustains it all, where everything rests, by entering into each and every atom as the paramatma (all pervasive: literal meaning of 'Vishnu').
The Law of Karma, three modes (gunas) of material nature: Sattva (goodbess), Rajas (passion) and Tamas (ignorance) based on which all if us act according to different situations we are put in due to our past Karma, and how with our free will we fan break free of this cycle of Birth-Death-rebirth as aatman (souls) to achieve Moksha (liberation) to re-establish our connection with the supreme Brahman by practicing Dharma (righteousness/duty/core nature) in the process of Artha and Kama (getting prosperity to achive desires but bound by our Dharma) through spiritual practice of Yoga (connection of aatman and paraBrahman).
Goddess Shakti takes up the divine thankless job of maintaining the law of Karma through material modes (gunas) to reform the jivas (all of us living beings) to advance and progress life after life.

"Vishnu" who is being talked in this video is same as "Brahman". In Hinduism different people have their own form of Brahman that they wish to see as the supreme. Some think Vishnu as the supreme while others see Shiva as supreme while some see Devi as supreme who is female form. Who is the supreme actually doesn't really matter since Brahman is formless, Genderless and the ultimate reality. We just want to visualise that supreme in some form nothing else.

Families arrange marriages based on caste & will not deviate from it
The only way is to let young people decide whom they want to marry - that way caste is not the criteria
In my own family, I am from Andhra, a Telugu, one niece married a Maharashtrian, another a Gujarati, another a Punjabi, a nephew is married to a Chinese and another niece married an American

God for ALL - is a God who is a Parent, Teacher for ALL - a Heart that has room for everyone
The Gods for the few are Dictators, Masters - demanding obedience and loyalty & rewarding/punishing accordingly
Think Putin, Kim Jong Un - these brutal dictators only reward those who believe and support them, the rest suffer
These are the Gods of Christianity & Islam - Heaven to them is like living in Russia or North Korea
The few who beg, grovel, blindly support the "Dear Loving Master" are rewarded, the rest brutalized
Lured by the promise of an everlasting life of ease & comfort in Heaven, these people have lowered God down to a Putin, a Kim Jong Un, and they themselves reduced to groveling slaves, down on their knees, begging for a bone!
