Here is my only hesitation doing banners. Size is limited, I get that, but if the customer is happy with the way the Eco-Sol looks, then it might be harmful to sell the prints from the latex. I run into this all the time at our shop. I print some envelopes on our toner machine and it matches the letterhead perfectly, but it's not cost efficient for more than 2,500, so then I switch to our small inkjet envelope printer and it doesn't match any more. Customer wants the toner look and it can bite you later down the road.
i was more just showing that u can absolutely use the bn20 for banners if its all you had, with my banner work i don't have to color match anything and i wont guarantee it either, for me i wouldn't need to print banners on the bn20 at all if my latex is running for obvious reasons. but when i was down for the 4-5 days for magenta print head i could have done some i guess,

Thank you for all the awesome content! What's your fav printable htv for the BN20A? I used the roland that came with my machine and it has a very plastic feel so we won't be ordering that again.
Thx. I like the colorprint its softer for sure just not alot of testing yet
My BN-20A arrives next week and I ordered a roll of Siser S-Print.
It’s supposed to be soft, thin and matte which is perfect.
Also applies at a very low temperature.
They say it can be more difficult to mask though. I’ll see how it goes.

@@fernandolanderos4600 I love it! The Siser S-Print media is great. Very soft and the shirts look amazing.
I’ve made window cling and decals with Roland’s media as well. The VersaWorks software is easy to learn and use.
I’m testing out the 60 degree blade at the moment for more detailed cutting and so far so good.
I want to make a banner, what type of material are you using? I already check your materials but i didnt see the link for the banner material.

Where do you design your banner design?
What kind of issues have you had without having a heater? I've read that people have had issues with smudging.
Smudging? i mean ye if u run your fingers across an image with a heavy ink profile but dry to touch. Not to long after. Not sometbing u will do normally, typically you would.print and throw on table for a bit. But notbing out of the ordinary
Would you use the hp latex for htv design that are 8*6 and 10*9. Want to choose between this or an hp 115
To be honest i like the bn20 for htv it prints way nicer and. Right colors and cuts when your done
I'm curious to know how well this holds up. I know your mentioned this was for inside your garage. Do you think it's strong enough to hold up outdoors? I know this ink runs sometimes when wet?
hi, they will not run when it rains when they are cured before hanging for sure.
what media type setting do you use for banner paper
for hp media i use the hp matt banner profile for 13oz
What's this material Used in the video to print the signs/banners?
I use hp prime 13oz matte and glossy
What type of paper are you using for the banner? I just bought the Roland bn20a for my shirt business and wanted to start doing like posters, banners and decals I believe it does and stickers. Any tips? I am so los tot what type of paper to get for that.
I see a lot of people do banners and then stick it to a harder board?
Valerie, thanks for watching, browse some of my videos i talk about diferent medias, but you want to print on adhesive vinyl for stickers and mounting to boards, and banner material for actual banners. swing design and roland has media but start with 13oz matte or gloss vinyl but make sure you get the right sizes 20" wide swing design sells media for bn20 for sure. check out their site. take your time watch videos you will pick up things easy

@@valeriemoreno7053 no problem, you would only laminate vehicle graphics and certain outside signs that will be outside in sun 3 years or more for sure
I want to print only banner. Do you recommend to get the Roland BN 20 ?
if you do not have enough space yes but i would step up to a larger machine 54" wide will print a banner in a few minutes.

Thank you for your videos. I do signs at work with a Graphtec. We don’t print at work though. Anyway, I’m starting from scratch for doing this at home. What software do you use, Adobe Illustrator, or Coreldraw or something else? Also, desktop or laptop computer and how new is it? I know these seem like pretty basic questions, but I’d appreciate your input.

i use corel and affinity designers mostly, i have several 7th gen i7 ThinkPad's with 12gig ram i use for most my equipment down here. all depends on the complexity of the design really. but great machine to start out with for sure!

How well can the BN-20 Print & Cut on 12pt cardstock? Can the Eco-Sol MAX Ink print to holographic cardstock? I've seen it can do holographic vinyl, so I'm curious.
I have never tried card stock or any paper at all yet.

Do you put the gromets on and hem?
Always use grommet, hemming or banner tape(folded edges) only if someone needs an outside banner. Not needed for indoor banners.
