You are theeeeee besssssssssssssssssssssstttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! It worked perfectly. I have been trying to cut after laminating with no luck the way the tech showed me. Ugggghhhh!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!
i see alot of people talking negative about the bn20 especially in the groups with the ink not coming out and stuff is it really worth it im on the verge of buying one but i dont wanna make a bad choice
You are a lifesaver. Thank you for this. You explained it so well that even a dummy like me understood it. You rock!!! Subscribed as well. Looking forward to checking more of your channel out.
Soo my manual tells me to line up the marks on the cut strip I also don't have a BN20 I have a VS 300i and I am going to follow that concept Thank You !!
I appreciate your reply! I am asking if you can laminate over the "registration marks" or not. For instance when using a Cricut they tell you not to laminate over the registration marks, so I am curious if you can with this machine. Thank you. 😊
Great video thanks. I’m 2 weeks away from getting a BN-20 and cold roller and can’t wait. I’ve been getting stickers made for me for years and usually have die cut on transparent. These always come with a white base print and then the full colours printed and n top in order for the colours to pop especially if stuck on dark surface’s, have you ever done this on your BN-20?
Halo def can be problematic depending on the brand. I only used a sample I never bought a roll. It would be good to know from someone who has used workable media
Thanks for the info. Just wondering does that cut go all the way through to the back of the media so you are able to pop that sticker out to keep it in the shape of the design while keeping the backing in place until ready to stick? Like die cut stickers?
U can die cut but i dont recommend because u get alot of dust thaybcan effect print head. But people do just lick or matter of time. Puts fast wear on strip as well
❤❤❤ thank you for the lesson. I needed that. Can you help me with my cut settings? I'm having the hardest time getting everything cut correctly. I have to print 2 images at a time in order for them to halfway cut right. I've tried redoing the cut settings many times. It's just not working for me😢
I had printed the marks (before I watched video and I did not choose to go back to origin) but lining up print marks to the sensor when I put it back in and it keeps canceling. help?
would this printer really help start a sticker business more efficiently than using a cameo 4 and laserjet printer? sorry for the silly question, I am trying to get into the print and design business but not sure where to start
yes, the fact that it prints on commercial sign grade vinyl is the #1 reason, laserjet printers will not be able to print on vinyl also the size of it. hope this helps!
I mean for your own car no but paid customer will want the life out of it. Chemicals from washes like car washes etc will eventually kill the life. And lam will give a better uv protection. There many reasons. Like my own cars i dont cuz can just make again
Lol very good observation, was wondering someone when would notice. Its actually 2 things going on. I run a 25ft repeater usb cable to the computer actually running it. But the other computer you see me going from is working on remote desktop because i do all my designing on that computer and makes transfering files easier.
@@DaPrintHouse 😂 can you maybe show the setup. Because I use my Mack book to design and then I have a network server folder setup that I drop my files into and then on my Microsoft computer I just go in and pull it. But the Microsoft computer is literally sitting on the printer.
@@queenk8248 i can, but unless u run windows on your mac u need to hse wi dows remote desktop or some otber setup that alows drag and drop files or a server folder which also works

I don't have a BN-20 and I still watched the whole thing, lol. Good video. Glad to see you back doing more videos.

Ye could be diferent. Used. 300 years ago
that makes sense
Can you laminate over the cut marks or does it have to be in between?
U print, lam, then cut lines

Hi, you need the white ink version. But from people its finicky a s u should print white everyday to leep it moving. Mine does not bave white ink
Have you experienced issues with halo media? My printer will not detect marks at all with halo media
Halo def can be problematic depending on the brand. I only used a sample I never bought a roll. It would be good to know from someone who has used workable media
Mine worked, registration was off though. Any thoughts?
ye sometimes this can happen. i would retry and test, maybe the high is dirty or puinch wheels need to be replaced or cleaned

I just donated $20. Just a little payment. I know I'll be asking a lot of questions.
I'm having a lot of trouble getting contour cut lines on my designs any tips
What are yiu designing in? Try 100% magenta outline stroke color and save as pdf4 for versaworks it will recognize it
Hi, how much pressure do you add to your 60 when you laminate?
with 3.5m vinyl and lam im cutting about 150 but it all depends on your knife settings as well,
@@DaPrintHouse thank you! I just got this printer and I’m learning how to laminate. I have my cutting pressure set at 60 also.
@@kirocha01 u should need more pressure to cut through, but set knife right and do test going up 10 increments

Sorry i have been soooo busyvat work. I wouldn tryba baseline like i show and gradually go up. There many variables
Are you cutting through the backing as well? I’ve been trying to cut through both the vinyl and the backing but the printer always jams up. And tips?
don't recommend doing through cuts at all on it.

I would have to see a video how u are doing it.
Thinking about it I wonder if it's your hold down wheel placement. They need to be over thr grit of the wheel

Hi. I am Tom. Mi Roland BN-20 dont will print the Cut Marks. He only print 4 lines but not the corp marks. what can i Do?
you can send me the file and i can help
How you doing the registration mark ?
In versaworks there is a section for the registration mark
Does this print and cuts at the same time?
U chose before or after print. Slower but does work
Do you really need lam for stickers like for cars?

How you laminate?
Fun fact: you walk 11 seconds from the BN-20 to your desk. :D
No way i had to sit down and press. Buttons looool

Still doesn’t cut laminate, it just tries to read the first crop marks and then stalls! Even tried with no laminate did same thing
possibly dirty mark reader?

Great value now
I messaged you on Instagram, by the way! Awaiting your response from both my business account and personal.
How do you laminate it?
i just use a roll table applicator
