    Just want to say have been looking at this printer for a few weeks and watching your videos. You have been a great help in making our decision. We are coming from a Graphtec CE7000-60 that we have been using for years and will still use. And it seems that once you are in the business you start to realize how many other directions you can go. And we have decided to add this machine to our portfolio. One we are purchasing is a second hand about 2 years old with not much use.

    Great video! We’re new to this field (we launch in August) and this was very helpful. Love the tip about the ruler for laminating! Thanks! 😊

    Love it, the ruler is a great way to “handle “ that large piece of laminate 😍

      Thank you. I waited til I had a good cash flow from die-cut decals so it would pay for itself.

      @@deanpatton5697 not disgruntled at you my man at roland for even selling that thing, its slow, loud, to much maintenance and not cost friendly. For the same price you could have gotten a older used vs or vsi or even a sp.

    this video makes me so happy i didnt throw away money into a BN20 that thing is so sloooow, watching you try to remove the vinyl after cutting is no good my man, you need to adjust your blade and pressure more, its just laminate you should be able to cut in 1 pass and it peel like butter. Maybe your blade is dull but more than likely its blade depth and pressure. I started with a cricut then us cutter plotter, then graphtec and now run 3 graphtecs, i have had a SP300V. 540 and now a sg2, started with the same laminator and now use a royal sovereign. hope you can get out of the BN20 cause once you do you will slap yourself for the bn lol keep up the grind my man

      I am investing in an electric laminator pretty soon for signwarehouse.com.
      costs more but worth it I think. Thanks for watching!

      For the bn-20 or in general for cameo or cricut?

    How do you cut them individually through the backing afterwards? So that they’re all in a uniform shape and can stack them for packaging. Do you use another machine?

    • @down2stick203
      @down2stick203  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually haven't learned that yet. I have done it by mistake but they come apart in machine and jam up. I will find out and post it.

    Thanks for the vid! Can the BN20 cut completely through both mediums so you can pop out die cut stickers?

    • @down2stick203
      @down2stick203  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it can but stickers will be a bit hard to remove.

    What is the best laminate to use with the 3m ij35? The 3m laminate is super expensive. I also have a BN20 but have never laminated anything. Thanks for making the video.

    • @down2stick203
      @down2stick203  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 3m material should have a section on the laminate recommended. I would call manufacturer "3m" they have great customer service. I personally have never used 3m but I do mix products and get great results. I mainly use prismjet and Orafol.

      I bought the same 3m vinyl and had it cut down to 20” like you show in the video. What’s your Favorite laminate to use on this that you had the best experience with? Do you have the model number on the orafol laminate? Thanks

    So how do you get the decals out if you dont cut all the way through?

    • @down2stick203
      @down2stick203  ปีที่แล้ว

      It cuts thru, I was cutting a little too deep into paper so they were hard for customers to remove.

      I try and do 1$ dollar per square inch. so 6x6" size I do 6$ dollars. Make sure and keep track of material costs and time and also look at competitors pricing.
