What a pleasure to see and hear Mark Birch again after his great contribution to the Live Dates 3 concert in 2000 in Shepherd's Bush. it is a huge loss that this particular musician no longer performs live. Sad.
Can you believe I saw them at a theatre in Deal kent a couple of years ago and they didn't play what i consider to be their finest track. It's a beauiful song. I will never book to see them again

I’ve seen WA probably close to 15-16 times and I have never seen them play this song. I understand now - the vocals for this song are just not suited for Andy’s vocals. I get it - and obviously Andy does too but hats off for bringing in Mark Birch to sing this great song - with fantastic guitar work from AP.
Andy Powell is an excellent guitarist. His guitar playing defines Wishbone Ash. ❤ his playing!

Birch played with the group 1997-2001 Good to see him again playing this ballad from 1973.
He passed away a year back. So sad!!
