    After an EPIC back workout we decided to finish with some of these :-) Going to apologize now to any actual gymnasts for my form. Also say this is NOT a video demo of ring work. Do NOT watch for technique pointers, haha! Just for fun :-)

    A common mistake that gym people make doing calisthenics is not locking out.
    Locking elbows will build more strength and hypertrophy and also you got a safer exercise with more range of mation

      Gymnastics is too demanding. Lol

    • @GB-ld6lf
      @GB-ld6lf ปีที่แล้ว +12

      It’s the opposite. All street lifters, for example, when they train they don’t lock out their muscle ups because the last part of the mouvement is the most dangerous and the least useful for strenght and hypertrophy

      @jacobharris954 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, was about to say the same thing. He is just asking for injury. People just jump on the rings without going through the foundational training and in gymnastics to progress you have to without causing injury to yourself

      @mert6614 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@krspypatriot3545 Definitely impressive, but it is for sure not the easiest part that he skipped lol. He would probably not be able to do a single rep if he fully extented at the bottom and top cause those are the hardest parts. Don’t know why you are saying that he skipped the easiest part.

    • @krspypatriot3545
      @krspypatriot3545 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@mert6614 im saying he skipped the easiest part because he skipped the easiest part, I could do the bottom and top extension that he missed with that weight on me and I can't even do a muscle up yet, the hardest part is the pullup and transition into the dip the scapula raise at the bottom is not difficult whatsoever I can only do 14 pullups in a row I could do 100 scapula raises (the bottom full extension he missed) even most people that can't do pullups can do a scapula raise they try a pullup and gain about 2 inches, the part that he didn't fully extend to, and then can't get the rest of the way because the rest is way harder, this is not debatable whatsoever I am completely in the right here

      I completely disagree, I can do significantly more reps without lockout at bottom than I can with lockout. Everyone can. It takes a lot more strength starting from a deadhang.

It would still be a hige achievement and i really want to believe that this kind of strenght or endurance is possible for everyone. But nowadays its so hard. Anyone is telling you that you can make it but there all on gear. So if anyone knows please let me know too. Im super curious.

      Sources:
      He mentions his height in his book The Art of Resilience and his other book The Fittest Book in the World. If you read his work, you would trust him as a source as well as he is a famous trainer and adventurer, so its not easy to hide his height.
