I am a 72 year old Asian woman and I find that so many of your comments about how you are treated or made to feel in the US resonates with me too. I appreciate your positivity and love that you both are helping other women find their way to better lives. I have subscribed because even though I am not in your target audience, I am helped by your content.
I have a Vietnamese friend and every time we get together she talks to me about all of the racist things that have happened to her since the last time we saw each other. I think she tells me because she knows I'll understand. I had no idea what Asian women were going through in the U.S until becoming friends with her.
Ladies, when moving to a low or middle income country, by nature you’re contributing to gentrification, with local black and indigenous groups being the most severely affected in these countries. Because of this, I would encourage you to be very intentional in giving back in ways that are needed locally. There’s many ways in which you guys could make a contribution, for example, volunteering some time to help children and youth to learn/practice their English or offering connections in the US to social entrepreneurs, who are usually doing what the government should be taking care of.
Replay s-Star ✨💫⭐️ I house sat in Ambergris Caye, Belize 8/14-9/12/24. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed exploring the island, by golf cart. No Walmarts, but you can go to Chetumal, Mexico from Belize City. English speaking but the locals speak 2-4 languages. On the island they’re building another hospital in the South part. The locals are chill and black & brown people are the norm. I’m a water baby so I was in heaven. It has the 2nd largest living barrier reef in the world. Internet was good but DigiCell is not as reliable as the other company. Yes it’s warm but you gotta see if it works for you. Definitely go visit. 🦋
Moving abroad is something I always wanted to do, but didn't think it was really possible for me. I wanted to go to Ecuador and then the pandemic came. Anyway to make a long story short watching Exodus Summit was an eye-opener so in October 2023 I came to Merida Mexico for a scout trip. April 2024 I got my permanent residency. I speak Spanish and have always wanted to travel the world. Now being retired and having a reduced overhead cost, all allows me to live my best life. Thank you for helping me to see the possibilities.
I just got approved for my Colombian digital nomad visa yesterday (9/20). The visa can be two years. Mine is one year. They can be renewed as many times as you like, as long as you meet the qualifications, and the time in country on the visa does not count towards residency.
Always come here for inspiration when I need it. Thank you🤗. I already made a plan last year for my gap year. I’m almost there, just waiting for one more document that should arrive in three-six months and I’m out✌🏾. I’ve moved countries and continents twice already, but still get the excited/scared butterflies now that I’m planning the next move. But I know it’s gonna be awesome. Thanks for reminding me😊
I’ve had my passport since I was 18. I will travel for as long as I can. And moving abroad is my final frontier. 👩🏽 💫. ❤️ this informational video. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Catching up on the live: "Them down unders" in Bali made me spit out my coffee. 😂 As a temporary Mexican resident, weather is my determining factor, 95% humidity is a deal breaker.
Thanks for posting, I am building a home in West Africa. I do agree it is not welcoming to us, West Africa is welcoming to none melanated. That is my honest opinion Panama, Costa Rica, and maybe Caribbean Islands are on my list.
Absolutely looking for property in Belize. Belize is my place. I love it there. A few things that may be inconvenient but you'll never need to watch tv ever again.
Thank you! The 2 of you help me think in new creative ways about how to configure my exodus with the housing & $ situation. Also I took the quiz & am learning more about that location. Lastly, remember the rapper Shyne who Diddy framed in 1999 for that New York club shooting? He is the Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives. When he’s in New York he has an America accent & when he’s in Belize he sounds like them. His father was a leader there as well. Anyways you ladies are amazing. Keep up the great work! 🫶🏽❤️💜
Hi! Watching the replay. I really enjoyed visiting Belize. I was there in 2022. Caye Caulker was relaxing. However, look into the Cayo region too! It is more inland in the Western part of Belize. I definitely considered moving there after just one visit. However, now I want to explore Curacao after watching this video. Amsterdam has always been on my list. I didn’t realize you can also use the Dutch American Friendship Treaty for Curacao! Maybe this can be my entry into Dutch Residency!
The islands off the coast of Belize are probably not the real Belize. They are more like a tourist haven with foreigners. On the mainland, the locals consider the country really dangerous. It's not on my list. And the local food is really bland. Not many choices either... But it's great for a short vacation... Lots of Mayan pyramids, rivers and waterfalls on the mainland
This is true. Belize has no luxury, expensive food, low-quality, sparce products. Poor infrastructure, corrupt leaders and absolutely nothing to do in terms of art, entertainment, culture or educational experiences. The people are 'nice' until you actually get involved in their lives and learn their norms and ways of relating. The food is bland and there is no free-press, ie newspapers so the country is in deep need of reform. Go see for yourselves ladies. Belize is unique but not for everyone.
Question: I purchased your Exodus Summit 2024 and wanted to know if I need to upload Facebook or Zoom onto my laptop? I don’t wanna miss a single second on Oct 11th😊
Hi Marcy. No, you don't need Facebook. The regular sessions happen at ExodUS Summit.com. And you do need Zoom if you're getting the All-Access Pass and coming to the Salons / Accountability groups.
From the future and a 4am very wet UK. Happy anniversary Stephanie. You both look fabulous ❤ hair, skin, energy amd the colours making me want some sun and job freedom too!
Looking at Thailand. Hmm, the pollution is off the charts during winter. Sounds good for a few months just not November to February. Areas away from Belize City were wonderful. Loved the tropical nature there.
Thank you for including this link in the Exodus Summit email. Could you talk about some countries in Eastern Europe such as Montenegro and Bulgaria? Are they friendly to black women expats? I love Latin America but it’s so hot and humid, and the violent crime is an issue for me. Thanks so much in advance.
Love the show.Kenya is beautiful & the people are amazing but get a nicer safe ( abit more expensive ) place as a woman! Always ensure they have backup electricity and water . Karibu - Welcome to Kenya!
Yes!!! I love Canada's national anthem. Oh, Canada is not as hard to sing as America, the Beautiful or Star Spangled Banner. Plus, I think it is a prettier song.
Other than Kenya and Columbia, noticed that the other countries are surrounded by water. My concern is hurricanes and tsunamis. Any other suggestions of countries not surrounded by water?

Good for you. However, I can't handle the altitude sickness.
@@JaniceLThinker there is no altitude sickness in Lima. That is in only in Cusco

This is great advice! I was wondering how to minimize the gentrification aspect.
Very good points. Also don't pay "American" prices for living expenses - food, rents, help, medical - another way we contribute to gentrification.
