Oh BTW.....I am in the final stretch of blasting the hell out of this leg of my life. I am 76 Stephanie, and am currently in the final stretch of my sabbatical year roaming the globe. I am almost there. I just gave up my apartment and am in an airbnb until May. Then I am off. Not sure of my first destination.. but the world is my oyster now!!! I've laid all the groundwork....stacked cash....no bills. The only thing I am working on is what you talked about here. Yep....I've decluttered...so radically that it made me nervous!!! My storage locker is now the size of a coat closet. Now I have to declutter on the more scary level.....ideas that don't work, values that don't work, friends that don't work, family (well, I decluttered there years back) ets c. etc. Stephanie, can you please have a panel of older women in their 70s and even 80s who are braving this type of leap. We have different cares and concerns and it's never DEEPLY talked about. Love you. P.S. Im hoping to do my first international sit.

I received my PhD. 3 months ago, will be 40 in 2 months, lost my job last month, and getting divorced next month. I'm truly starting anew, and I am afraid. I hope that through your channel and followers, I can gain support through this transition with my children.
Hello ladies, I’m 55 ex truck driver forced into retirement, now working on stacking funds and declutterring then I will be in the expat streets, best wishes to you all ❣️
Greetings all, I’m 47 and my rebirth has made it clear that this chapter of my life no longer serves me. Loss director job, filed for divorce, relocated to a place for a job that I no longer have. I could go on and on, but I’m focused on the next phase of my life and it’s not in the US.
Hello, all!!! Over 65 here…was financially devastated by divorce, credit in the toilet from that and then the pandemic flushed it. I have two degrees, I’m healthy, fit, and I have a daughter with a career that transferred her from Orlando to Dallas. I’m giving up my $1700 a month apartment and co- living with her and family in a new state. Maybe I’ll meet my rich dream boat 🙏🏽or maybe I’ll just save up a ton of money. Either way, I’m done being angry, disappointed and feeling defeated. And reinventing myself, creating the life I dreamed of when was younger. Working on my own “moveable feast.” Looking onward and upward…Portugal, Panama, Paris, Milan, Mexico, Martinique here I come. And I couldn’t be more grateful. Blessings to all for being our own protectors and providers. Being courageous and faithful.🙏🏽Blessings to us all.
70 yrs old. Recently lost my husband, quit my nursing job, moved to embrace co-living with my daughter in California. Registered with Trusted Housesitter, no money and still scared to take first steps alone. 😢
Hello and good afternoon Stephanie. I am currently co-living, after leaving an abuser. I felt ashamed and defeated. After seeing this, I now see the BLESSING. NO SHAME IN CO-LIVING. AT LEAST I AM LIVING. 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾
Hi👋 . Lost my job, lost my mom who was the only parent left, and moved back to my country with children, so it's a starting over on a higher level. Unfortunately, we have no one to live with, no family or relatives. But we will get there😊. Thanks for always sharing great content for us black women Stephanie ❤
For my birthday, I had to start over. Left stable income, feelings of overwhelm and SHAME and on the tip of a mental breakdown. Gracefully I kept my apartment in Bogotá. However I’m starting over from the bottom making slow but steady progress. 😔
Coming from someone who's had to start over several times, YOU CAN DO IT!! I'm cheering and praying that you find your true essence, your voice, and strength again!❤

I live in Virginia Beach and had no idea how to find house sitting opportunities until this post. My plan is to relocate to Texas but overseas is a welcome alternative. Thank you so much for offering this service and encouraging TH-cam channel.

Hello everyone! I am not a black woman, I hope that's ok to write in your comment space... I am 40 now and just lost my long time job that I sacrificed so much for. This job was my life, my identity... I realize now that's not a good thing to let a job- working for other people - dictate your life and to identify with it. Because after I was discarded at the beginning of just this year, I've been struggling with who I even am now. What I should be doing... I feel ashamed, I feel like a huge failure, a loser... I've been struggling with depression to the point where I stopped trying to get my unemployment because I had some hurdles in my way to get there... I just didn't have the nerves/ strength for all the nonsense. My health took a huge hit and I started having lots of pain and issues with my feet, couldn't even walk some days. I'm hoping to get a change of perspective and the courage and strength to start fresh, but for myself from now on... Thank you for letting me vent...
I am starting over in my fifties after leaving my job. I have the privilege of co-living with my parents, keeping my expenses low, and embracing this time to declutter what is no longer serving me - old habits, attitudes, limiting beliefs, and stuff. Seeking my next chapter.
Good morning! I missed the LIVE by just a bit, but my morning hadn't gotten started yet. I quit a job after 16 years in August last year. Switched to a new one to stack cash to make my getaway in a few years. Found the environment toxic (my Caucasian male friend who recommended the job doesn't have the same experience I do while working there). Called my old boss to get my former job back, and he was totally willing, but HR and "the rules" were making the deal worse for me (reduced leave and sick time earned). So I withdrew and I'm back to this job I don't like and find overwhelming. Just trying to tough it out FIVE years until I can retire at 60. I should've saved a LOT more money. If you're young, stack that cash NOW.
This is great information and mind set is everything. My son passed away, then lost my job and home- broken and tired but I am going to make it. Nothing can shake me at this point. Starting my own business and definitely see a tiny home in my future. I am 60 and while starting over is daunting, I have nothing to lose.
My midlife crisis was amazing. Embrace the ego death, mourn the life you strove so hard for but it's time to let go, cleanse and renew. What comes after that ego death is better than what you were doing before.
replay watcher here. Cambly was a great option for me when i got divorced and needed quick additional cash on top of my full time job. The schedule was flexible and could do from my house.
30 years old & left a toxic work environment voluntarily in Jan. Trying to enjoy this season, but the volatility of the job market coupled with my dwindling savings makes me FEARFUL.
Good evening! I am 51 yrs old and have recently lost my home because of my significant decrease in my income along with the rapid inflation cost of living in the U.S., so I was blessed into a co -living environment that is very temporary. I am working technical certifications as a career pivot from designing homes (that I could not even afford to buy...smh). I apologize, Lol, I'm ranting now. I am highly interested in living outside of the U.S. before this year is up. I am thinking that house sitting is a good option for me since my adult children and one parent are spread out in different continents at the moment. I just downloaded the housesitting guided. Love, peace, light and continued blessings to you & thank you for sharing!
I am 49, sold my house, three businesses. Lost all my money in a bad investment. It was everything I had so I could travel & move abroad. This video is so timely. I got laid off last year. Started a new job in the Fall and quickly discovered my boss was not a fan of melanated women. Now unemployed again, I am looking/needing to make a serious life pivot at 38 years old. Thank you for the tips and inspiration to transform my life. And thank you for sharing one of your three topics near the end of the video! 🍉
Grandrising Stephanie, you’ve been a light in my life. I’m a 38-year-old with one fur baby living in my car. Because I decided to leave an unhappy marriage, now I'm starting over in the process of reinventing myself. These TH-cam videos that you make have been a guide for me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Greetings to you and all. So glad that there’s a platform to support us black women. I want change. I want to make changes in my life that serves me. I work the 9-5 corporate yet I’m glad I’m a remote worker but on the flip side is that I hardly get outside. I want to travel more and really embrace life!
Was injured on the job with a major airline yr 2022.....cannot work on a regular basis, my youngest daughter had to move in with me to help with the rent, benefits her as well....😁
Hello everyone. I’m 24.. Left my stable job last October to drive for Amazon (was well needed but also a mistake and inconsistent hours) fast forward to March I got fired the day I had a minor car accident, (I didn’t have insurance because I had to pay the car note and my rent and it lapsed. So I had my car and license plate taken and had to get everything back.) started working for my mom again (it’s been a struggle), lost my apartment and fast forward to last Monday I flipped my car and it was totaled. (I’m okay though thank God). So I’m pretty much stripped of everything. I have support but I feel like a complete failure. I’m looking at the brighter side of everything. And hopefully I can somehow get completely back on my feet😭.
Thanks God that you are definitely here for a purpose and God hand of protection is all over you. Let this stand a a testimony of God restore everything you lost and returning it in 3 months. ❤Be encouraged you will make it
Missed the beginning of the live, but first to comment! 😁 I'm currently on a sabbatical - one year has turned to one and a half years. May not ever go back to Canada except in the summers. Thanks for the informative topic. I do freelance technical writing, but I'm finding that you have to hustle for those clients, and the work and therefore the pay isn't always consistent.
I used to spend too much time prospecting for clients when I was a virtual assistant. It sucked. I wish I has positioned myself differently and did things like content marketing and speaking at conferences to get a stream of clients like @wes mcdowell does.

I would not have imagined my dreams while grinding on someone else's agenda. I'm blessed right where I stand and grateful for the next chapters in my life. I wish I had some parents. 😢❤. Mommy left 32 years ago at 37 years old, and Daddy …is around. When I get free to travel I am going to go love on some Elderly people and get some in return. ❤
I’m 51 and ended my almost 20 year career this past September. My home is paid for. Only property taxes, homeowners insurance, monthly bills, and groceries. I’m living off of my savings. I haven’t tapped into my retirement funds YET. I also have a pension plan , but I have to be at least 55 to start receiving partial retirement benefits, or 58 for full benefits. I’ve been using this time to rest and travel. I loved Costa Rica🇨🇷 ! My 12 yr old didn’t want to leave 😢… Okay so my dilemma is this. I LOVE ❤️to travel, and I fancy the idea of moving abroad. However, I don’t have any set career plans moving forward. House sitting sounds great, but I’m a full time mother, and can’t figure out hours to do this with my kid. I’m not an animal person per se. 🆘

replay watcher here.
Hi, How are you able to stay afloat ?
@@cbreeze123 I’m working a part time job and my savings!
Greetings Stephanie and chat. I love all my black sisters. 🫂🫂🫂
Good morning ladies! I’m 51, medical coder, and in the process of starting over after 50. I love the community I found with exodus summit group.
I "retired" from my job feb '23 just after turing 64. Presently im decluttering and not she were my first destination is yet, but I'm ready
I am 49, sold my house, three businesses. Lost all my money in a bad investment. It was everything I had so I could travel & move abroad. I was discouraged but every time I get on this app, I see your community and get back on a roll. I found my community in Belize. I plan to visit and to stay a while. I have a family, so I got prepare for them. I AM WORKING ON GAINING MY FINACES BACK SO I CAN ESCAPE THE US!!! Thank you, Stephanie.

Hi ladies, watching the replay. Wishing us all a healthy and relaxing lifestyle.🤎🌸
Watching each and every video. The “always on and doing and taking care of everyone but me has totally destroyed me mentally physically and emotionally. Figuring it out and this is speaking to my soul. Pray for me please.
I'm in the same boat, and age I'm ready for a change
Grandrising Stephanie, you’ve
been a light in my life. I’m a 38-year-old with one fur baby living in my car. Because I decided to leave an unhappy marriage, now I'm starting over in the process of reinventing myself. These TH-cam videos that you make have been a guide for me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Everyone, I absolutely love this community! Everyone is so supportive & kind. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your journey, your friendship & love to “ ALL” of us.
Hello. Missed the live; watching the replay. I am ready to leave my job at soon to be 61 years old.

❤Be encouraged you will make it
@@mavenofcharts thank you for the kind words❤️❤️
Sending prayers
@@homebody61 thank you!❤️❤️
Congrats on being featured in the wall street journal Stephanie 🎉❤
Missed the beginning of the live, but first to comment! 😁 I'm currently on a sabbatical - one year has turned to one and a half years. May not ever go back to Canada except in the summers. Thanks for the informative topic. I do freelance technical writing, but I'm finding that you have to hustle for those clients, and the work and therefore the pay isn't always consistent.
I used to spend too much time prospecting for clients when I was a virtual assistant. It sucked. I wish I has positioned myself differently and did things like content marketing and speaking at conferences to get a stream of clients like @wes mcdowell does.
@@StephaniePerry Thanks! I'll check her out.
sunrise black women, i just tuned in here, it's august 18'24
thank you for this Stephanie and i'm glad i'm here because without your channel and the other ladies' channels, i would have been alone and in my head about everything i'm about to do now.. it is scary but it's inevitable
I appreciate you so much Sis!!!! Thank you for this VITAL content!!
Rich Rising Ladies! I left my employer of 16 years almost 3 years ago. I was a month away from turning 41. All this time, I have been undoing a limited mindset around being able to live a secure life. I am finally ready to make a bold move and leave my comfort zone. I feel supported by the stirring within me to write a new story. You all are such an inspiration! I am finally feeling excited about starting over🎉
Hello, everyone. Stephanie, I love your content.
Good morning from California. Starting over after 64 yrs young 😊

Hello Stephanie and everyone! So glad to have found this GREAT group of supportive new friends.
I'm 53, starting over and PROUD! 25 years of robotics for a company that didn't care a thing about me became overwhelming.
I watched a couple of your videos before I found this one. I saw this one...I thought OMG she's talking to me. How did she know I was feeling like this... how did she know I was thinking that same thing OMG. Hello new family 🧘🏾♀️🫶🏾✨🩷❣️
Good afternoon! Yes, we are still friends! 😊
Hello! From Dallas, TX
Good evening ladies! I am co living with my beloved son
Good morning! God Bless you. I have been thinking, praying about how to start over at 75. I need this. I lost the use of my hands after a spinal surgery.

58 and I’m here😢😂🎉
Good Afternoon from Jersey, love your hair sis!
Thank You Angela for the working with Rev. Barber in the Poor People's Campaign.
I got tired as a young mom and started global living with my 2 kids. 18 years in! Ladies just do it! Living abroad is so much better than struggle life in the US.. Stephanie, excellent content! Community Care is the Truth!
Hello everyone. Yes, I was released at 60+ and felt hurt, embarrassed, doomed, etc. Five months later after soul searching and now transitioning to a better life developing my dreams. I would not have imagined my dreams while grinding on someone else's agenda. I'm blessed right where I stand and grateful for the next chapters in my life. It wasn't easy getting here but I have arrived. Hang in there and reimagine how your day would begin according to your agenda. Slowly make those changes and bring them to fruition.
Checking the replay! 🙋🏾♀️ This content is for me! 🤗

Grand rise Beautiful People 👑🌹🌞
I am a 52 yr old mother & grandmother and they live with me. I am also in a co-living situation. Not something that I really like because space is limited but it has been working for our situation. Thank you for your video and information
(53:50) Hold up!! Sister Stephanie just said, "Some of y'all are gonna work 50 years of your life... Does ONE YEAR when you DON'T WORK sound THAT ridiculous?!"
WHEW! Preach that good word, sis! That's the best sell I've EVER heard!!
I am 53 years old and I already left a different comment on this video, but Stephanie said something that REALLY hit me hard, she said that she went home to her parents. I wish I had some parents. 😢❤. Mommy left 32 years ago at 37 years old, and Daddy …is around. When I get free to travel I am going to go love on some Elderly people and get some in return. ❤
I love how warm this community feels ❤
Thanks for all you do Stephanie!!!!!
Good morning beautiful ladies ❤❤❤
Hello from San Antonio, TX! Always great info :)
