Hello Adalia, this is such a wholesome video. I have lived abroad for over 20 years and I thought about how to travel and earn at the same time. So I went abroad as a teacher. My employer sorts my visa, I get paid to travel to different locations to teach and learn about cultures. It has even given me permanent residency status on 3 of the 6 continents I have worked on. It’s why I am now uploading my knowledge and experience on my channel with hopes that it would shed light and inspire someone out there like me who needs to know.
Hey Adalia thanks as 2 of my 3 choices are on your list! I’m retired but went back to work to accelerate the process of moving abroad. Got a part time job with full benefits including 401k and HSA!! I’m more determined than ever!! I receive SS but it only pays the bills. 🙏🏽 Nothing left 😢Thanks for all you do for black women!! 🤗🔥Keep doing the work ladies it’s possible!!
🙌🏾🙌🏾
Hi Adalia! I was watching a CNBC video about expats in Mexico City and OMG!!! there you were!!! I was so happy to see you and you Looked and sounded great! Congratulations and great job. I hope to connect with you when I visit CDMX in the near future. Take care!
Thank you!
Thank you Adalia! As a teacher who retired 'early' this is very beneficial. Double check the income requirement for Professional Visa in Ecuador. When I spoke with an attorney earlier this year it was $450. You are greatly appreciated as always ❤️
Thanks for letting me know
Congrats early retired educator! I'm in Cali trying to add more teaching years to pension but also trying to not stay until I'm 60. Good to hear other educators are early retiring and not waiting for traditional 60-62 years of age.
Any info on Thailand? Thanks good info!!!!
I was told that you needed to deposit approximately 27,000 US in a Thai bank to get a retirement Visa, but that could be taken out once you got your Visa. I have about $2300. month income & know I could live on that there. Any info much appreciated.
Hi, I was wondering how do countries see VA disability benefits? Is it considered a type of pension? Thank you
Wow! This really makes living abroad possible. This means all I have to do is maintain 2 clients per month to meet the requirements.
the math is mathing 🙌🏾
In The Philippines, you can come as a tourist and extend your visa for up to 2 years! The only hassle this comes with is that you will have to renew your visa periodically.
You couldn't pay me enough to live there YUCK!
@@chic9236Can you elaborate why? And if you have a preference where to live here in the United States, where would it be? A lot of people who decide to live outside the US, do so, because it’s cheaper for them and they can have a higher quality of life compared to staying in the US. But I’m curious what your take is.
Tourist visa can be extended up to 3 years. I live in the Philippines. I'm from America.
@@dualshock7757Most likely he/she has never been to the Philippines
No need to be rude. Filipinos are some of the kindest people in the world and lots of foreigners enjoy living there. @@chic9236
Hi, I love your channel. Just an FYI, Indonesia has recently changed their Retirement Visa Financial Requirement. It is now $3,000 USD and the age requirement is now 60. I know this because I am planning to retire to the island of Bali in a few years, so I make sure that I am aware of any updates.
Thanks for the update
Great video... I was starting to feel like traveling abroad was unattainable. Again thank you.
It absolutely can be done.
When I tell you this is a sign!!!!! Thank you so much. Message right on time!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Exactly
Im in the Philippines. Its good here 👍
Argentina and Peru sounds interesting.
I am intrigued by Peru. Hope to get there in 2024.
I’m ready for Spain. My god is it cheap there. From what I see when I look for apartments in Malaga and Barcelona, I’m going to be making my move there soon. Take a giant step to set my foot in 😂
what occupations are there?
@@DoyinVoice I’m running my own business. Not sure what jobs to look for there though.
Just found your videos tonight ... very interesting Adalia ! Very solid advice
I am from Florida but live in that 'other country' that speaks Portuguese since 2018
Came here while working on a container ship in 1980 and loved it. Worked like a dog till 2014, when I semi retired and moved down here. Been here off and on since 2002
Bought a nice 2br condo here in 2021 for $21,000 ! Spending about $600 a month on life !
You are right, when things don't feel right where you are - and you can't change a damn thing - get out and find a new more interesting, safer, cheaper and higher quality of life elsewhere !
Oddly enough, being from Florida but I have never been to Mexico !
In the next year we plan to come back to FL then make a trip to Mexico, probably MX City and Merida. I like their visas because they don't REQUIRE you to spend X amount of days there, unlike Portugal who demands you stay 6 months a year and deposit a large sum in one of their banks.
As much as I like PT, I find their rules too demanding and inflexable. Can always visit PT visa free.
Have visited 45 countries in my shipping career but few places I'd like to live in full time
The short list to visit again ; Portugal, Malta ! , Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Japan
PS : my wife is also a school teacher: History, English and Portuguese
Great interview Adalia, you explained that well !!!
GREAT video, Adalia!!!

If it is not personal, what are your compelling reason(s) for leaving UK.
I live here and kept thinking the same. It is going down the tube!
I’m the same way living in the us I went to college and cannot afford to live here
Keep hope and joy ALIVE for all❤❤. Thank you Adalia

Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much, the video was so informative...it gives you alot to think about....😊😊😊

@@AdaliaAborisade Hello Adaila!!!, I also looked up Dominica, and they 2 options, 1st 1, you can come in the country for 21 days, and then ask for a tourist extension, for up to 180 days, after that you can renew your visa annually and I think the website said 1,200 USD, . #. 2 you can invest 50k, or 100,000k and be a citizen and get your passport. I may opt for # 1, 6 months is good enough for me to get started, and get my bareing, so we'll see.....but I'll definitely post something in the Exodus Summit community group.
Thank you Adaila, I appreciate your kindness and your knowledge....a lot to think about
Peace and blessings
Denise 😊
This is so helpful! I’ve been to Argentina, Turkey and Ecuador all nice places. I know there is a large US expat community in Ecuador. I would love to visit Mauritius to to consider for retirement.
Loved this video.
Thank you!
I appreciate this video.
thanks for watching ❤️
Thank You Very Much, Adalia. Extremely Useful & Informative Video.💗 I Already BLAXIT-ed To One Of Those Countries,; But Winter In Mauritius Sounds Fantastic! :))
You're so welcome!
This was so helpful! Thanks! Peru and Ecuador are now on my radar. Appreciate this so much!
Glad it was helpful!
@@Vilcabamba_RE_DisclosuresOh wow. What about Peru?
hey@@lineaostri Peruvian here! I would say that I noticed that people outside South America are almost always surprised how expensive it can be. I would recommend to stay away from Lima and Cuzco if you have a tight budget. Condos in Miraflores(Lima) are 200-250k USD, just saying. But everywhere else you can live with 1000-1500 USD/month if you rent, even less if you own, but I don't recommend owning to expats because of the scammers and certain laws. There is also high levels of pollution, underemployment and criminality in our capital. That being said, Peruvian food is the best of the continent, the currency is stable, healthcare even though not the most advanced is relatively accessible and a lot cheaper, the amount of places that are worth visiting are endless, climate regions are diverse... Maybe I just don't like Lima hahaha
I absolutely love your videos you are of abundance with jewels of resources..I am retired an looking for a place to honker down in after I travel aboard for a year Thank you so much for this video 👏🏽🙋🏾♀️ I’m currently living in USA but will leave after my lease is up in August 2024 my daughter will also be coming along.
I subscribed and liked 👍:) do you happened to have similar information on Spain ?
Great video, Adalia! Your videos are always so informative. I will be in Buenos Aires in the next 10 days as well. I hope you have a wonderful time.
Have fun!
Adalia, I’m positive I saw you in Buenos Aires! I was with my immersion group on a tour and as the bus was driving by the Obelisk, I saw you crossing the street. Small world😊
Like and subscribed just from the title of the video

Hi Jen good to see you again.
Will they refund the fee if they denied the extension?
Thank you for this video, Taiwan is my dream last stop......but I'll make a pitstop before graduating to that. 😁
There's rule that we have to be one and done. Keep exploring.
I agree
This doesnt qualify, but im considering South Africa. Beautiful scenery, low cost of living, English is spoken there and its a black country. Not really interested in Latin America , but i like this content 😊
Which visa are considering for S. African?
@AdaliaAborisade The Retirement Visa. I spoke to an immigration lawyer in SA and she contacted the SA Consulate in Los Angeles and I qualify. I'm 38, so there is no age limit for that visa.
@AdaliaAborisade just consider South Africa in your next blog. Actually consider visiting it if you haven't done so yet. I guess you'll definitely consider relocating to SA. I know it's got it's own challenges like any other country, but you'll loved down here.
Buenas Tardes Adalia!
That's pretty ambitious of Venezuela..... that's all I'm going to say.😶
Hi Adalia, first time seeing you.
Turkey? Its vague regulations with a purpose.
I mentioned to my hotelier that I was shopping European property to open an American diner.
In 36 hours, I was invited to lunch with the mayor of Istanbul.
They offered me ridiculous 5 year benefits to open in Istanbul.
Great information and video, you sexy thing! I just subscribed. 💯✌❤😎
Which low cost countries are the best for older seniors that don't have to pay outrageous health insurance premiums living as an expat. Heard that many insurance companies overseas will not cover older seniors.
How do you get such glowing skin?
Thinking bout it
Yup
it's my 1st time hear I would love to travel and study or work as a Nigerian qualified Dental Hygienist
@ShanaJahsintaWalters please obtain a side hustle. There are voice over jobs, tieaching English online or obtain another job online. Do you have a computer, cell phone, etc.
Hey, just stumbled upon your channel and I subscribed after seeing your great info. I have a couple of comments: 1) I have permanent residency in Panama, and I love it here. However, I would say that living comfortably on $1500 a month in the most popular areas of the country would be a great stretch. 2) I am currently applying for a temporary residency in Argentina, and while the sum that you are quoting is accurate, my lawyer in Argentina says that requests for the rentista visa that show under US$2000 a month are not being approved, mostly due to runaway inflation. Thanks!
I'd heard that about Argentina but wasn't sure. Thanks for the info.
@@AdaliaAborisade my pleasure!
Do you know about Malaysia requirements?
The Indonesia retirement kitas has a minimum required age of 55. Soon, it'll increase to age 60. I'm sure you can imagine how sad I was about it. lol
Aw man 😢
Where can I move to on a fixed but steady income of $1,000.monthly?
A thousand thks
You're welcome!
Hello ma'am, thank you so much for this video . I would love it if you could make a video on how to move to the us for some because some are thinking about moving to us😂
Nah, I'm not in the business of helping people move there
Correction Portugal minimum income requirement is 760 ero not 705
Do investment and retirement accounts count towards the “savings” these countries require?
In many countries they do count
? What aout Thailand?
Hi Adalia. I have a quick question about the Degree requirement for Ecuador. Do they accept an Associate degree? I have an A.S. Degree, but not a bachelor’s. But, it’s still a degree. I’m certainly not sure Ecuador will be my choice, but I like to consider all my options. Thank you for this video.
As far as I know they expanded it to include associate degrees a few years ago
Thanks for updating me,please how can you help me to move a country that I will get citizenship so quick ? , I need a country where I will snd get citizenship as quick as possible.
Please reply
Thanks

Hi Adalia, can one get residency getting Disability? Which visa does Disability fall under?
The disability income could qualify but you cannot be outside of the US for more than 6 months or they'll stop the payments
Thank you SO much Adailia for your video. It is very much appreciated. I just had my Disability interview and hope to hear their decision before January. I have no problem spending 6 months here and 6 months abroad. I'm hoping this can truly be my last winter.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
For Dr, it takes long for than 2 years to get citizenship. 2 years is with the Invesment of 200k, it like 5 or 6 years without the invesment.
Thanks for the update
I wish I had US$1,500 right now.
Baby steps but it’s possible 🙏🏼
@@dianeheidelberg3791 Okay.
Love Argentina..
You are right about that.
FYI: The country of Brazil and also Belize.. are asking for a minimum of $2,000 USD a month = (Two Thousand). Thank goodness my wife and qualify without worrying or working. But I suspect that all countries will keep raising the ante on newcomers.
My wife is currently working on her Belize Residency. Please keep your fingers crossed that SHE will be able to pull together ENOUGH money and be GIVEN an ENTRY into Belize.. so that I will have a chance to FOLLOW HER and make sure that WE stay away from the Cayo District.
I am not AA ( Caribbean) dis video did spark interest to go back Caribbean or Afrika...lol watching from EU
Is this only for US citizens ( I have dual with UK ) my Daughter and grandchildren have US visas in their UK passports so would they also qualify ?
Not to my knowledge. As far as I know these programs are open to all who qualify.
hey, writing this not out of being negative but out wanting to help people who look like me. alot of the countries you mentioned don't allow dual citizenship on their path with to citizenship. people would have to give up their pervious citizenships to become a citizen. for example, Indonesia and the Philippines, if you aren't a naturally born citizen. i subbed to your Channel. i wish you luck!
Yep. Folks will need to do their own research and make the decision that is best for them.
That's only theory and on paper no one will check to see how many citizenship you have,my home country don't allow dual citizenship but I have three passports, no one really care and no they want ask you to give up ur first passport to get their when you apply
It seems that most countries are mostly in hot climates. I wish I liked warm/hot weather, but I don't.
In Panama, there are mountainous communities like Boquete which is around 16C to 25Celsius
I notice that you list income and savings together. Are they interchangeable? For instance, if you have at least $1350 USD in savings do you still have to be getting a certain amount of money per month? That aspect confused me. As for Mexico, I wonder if you meant savings of at least $4000 and not having to be earning that monthly. That would seem a bit excessive.
I mentioned the savings amounts for the programs that published them for Mexico you likely need somewhere between $40-60,000 usd in savings
@@AdaliaAborisade Wow.
Im on SSDI of 1391. I desperately want to leave the US. I'm definitely being priced out of housing here
For Mexico temporary residency, I think the monthly income is $2500 for 6 months straight? Is $4k for the permanent residency?
Depends on the consulate at which you apply. It's somewhere between 3-4 grand in 2023.
Hi, Do any of the countries allow dual citizenship? Thanks!
some of them do
I was surprised that Colombia is not part of this list. Is there a reason?
It requires more than $1500 USD
C@@AdaliaAborisade Columbia is not yet marketably competitive...
Does this mean you need to have a remote job before moving to these places? If you’re not a retiree?
Nope.
