- 'Enter the Matrix' was released in 2003 alongside 'The Matrix Reloaded' film. The story of the game tied in directly with the film and featured live action cutscenes shot exclusively for the game.
The game gave the player the option to play the game as two different characters: Niobe (played by Jada Pinkette-Smith) or Ghost (played by Anthony Wong). Both choices offered two different player experiences. This video is a recording of me playing the game from beginning to end as Niobe. - เกม

I like how the cutscenes from this movie was another movie basically the matrix 2.0 genius they need to either remake this or put it out on backwards compatibility
Those of us who played it had a special connection with Niobe and Ghost in the movie sequels.

Persephone is a brilliant character. She is a rogue program, seeking what it means to feel love. Only those who are willing to die for their lover, or Love, is capable of showing Persephone. That is what she "wants", despite being a program. The concept of AI searching for what true love feels like was was expressed beautifully here.

Playing through the game as Niobe is canon because in Matrix Revolutions when they meet up with Morpheus, Niobe tells him that she met The Oracle.
well, BOTH of their stories ARE canon, just havent heard from Ghost that much...
@@SB992REBORN Yeah, up until Seraph calls them to meet the Oracle after Smith as Bane botched everything up. Niobe went in the Matrix responding to Seraph's call, not Ghost.
I remember beating this game and starting over because by the end of the game I was beast

22:00 that's interesting how on Big Distraction on my PS2 version you only hear the creepy backdrop ambient sound effects after you almost finish the level, as opposed to all the time when the level theme tune's happening
Really enjoyed the cutscenes in this game, filled in some gaps of the films. Quite liked the dynamic between Niobe and her crew too lol. Driving was pretty clunky at times though.

3:24:52 Not sure if ppl know but you can spawn those Smiths non-stop. I don't know if its a glitch, but I remember I would run back and forth in the map, and if you run passed their spawn points you'll spawn more and more. Lol I knew I couldn't fight them but I still tried to like Neo in the movie hahaha.
I used the sword with her. It's pretty badass how to unlock k it as well.

There was a level where we fight in cargo bay of a plane, and plane was flying. I cannot find that no matter which Enter the Matrix video I watch.
I never understood why they wouldn't just remake this game. Everything is right on the plate. They have awesome soundtrack and voice over ready, they have cutscenes worth millions, they have a franchise that still has a huge fanbase. Everyone would play a remake of this. Just buff the graphics, fix the issues withe the camera, make one or two bonus levels to lure people who already played, and you have a certain bestseller on your hands. What's stopping them? Do they hate money? WTF?
I have thought about spearheading a project to updating the PC port for modern systems. Sort of like the Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition.

It was a terrible game. Repetetive gameplay, cheesy one-liners and missed opportunities and unfinished on top of that. However, I loved this game and had a lot of fun with it back then! It was really cool to play a canonical character in a canonical story that supported the films.
