As of May 2021, it will mark 5 years of me graduating college and more importantly nearly 5 years of working in Regulatory Affairs. I never imagined graduating college and ending up in Reg Ops. Working as a Pharmacy Technician in college, I would never have imagined being a Senior Regulatory Affairs Consultant working toward Associate Directorship today.
I think it's important for people to understand Research & Development and Regulatory Affairs play a huge role in that process. I think it's even more important to be the representation you wish to see in any industry and I am doing just that. So you said that you uploaded your resume to different job platforms? Did you send them directly to a recruiter? Did they hold it against you that you didn't have a specific job title you were going for? I am interested in regulatory affairs, clinical research, QA, QC I just need to get my foot in the door at one of these biotech companies. Can I just upload my resume like you did or do I need to specifically have a job title i"m going for?

I know you said you’d done previous work in pharmaceuticals prior to getting into regulatory affairs, but how were you able to land a Lead Regulatory Affairs role straight out of college w/out any knowledge of what regulatory affairs was? @@kyabdul thank you for your response. I started as a start up for an associate role and now I've jumped to a bigger organisation with the role of a specialist. I wanna be a manager in the next 2 years, after 3 years of experience.
