    A.K. stands for what?

    • @kyabdul
      @kyabdul  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Form 8-K is known as a “current report” and it is the report that companies must file with the SEC to announce major events that shareholders should know about. Companies generally have four business days to file a Form 8-K for an event that triggers the filing requirement.

    Very informative and soooo good! I felt like I was having lunch with a coworker, I was so engaged lol. I’m so glad you stood your ground and fled before they could potentially hurt your reputation. See ya’ tomorrow for part 3!

    Very insightful. You would never think something like this would happen with upper management…..especially in this industry.

    • @kyabdul
      @kyabdul  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Within mid to large companies it wouldn’t happen I don’t think! But small and micro organizations anything can happen

      @@kyabdul Agreed. I’ve experienced something similar from a CRO standpoint working with a very very small pharma company. It was interesting to say the least

    Thank you so much for taking about your experience. I’m realizing that during pandemic/recessions most careers don’t actually have as much of a safety net as I believed. I thought by having a higher profile job I would have a better safety net, especially during COVID, seeing as the work is related to pharmaceuticals. You’ve shown me that people will enter a high paying field with little experience and little motivation/organizational skill. Thank you for taking snot the red flags that people in the fertile should be wary of going in.

    Thank you so so much for sharing this. Your part 1 & Part 2 are truly educational - and I’m not even in the biotech or pharmaceutical field!
    Specific thanks for sharing how you handled and approached this situation; handled yourself; discussions with your executives and peers; giving an overview of the timeline and context and your own thoughts; also, how you described your methodology and strategy in navigating the stickiness of extracting yourself from Company C, while securing another contract job, was easy to follow and understand. Overall, your videos, reels, and shorts are like on-the-go mentorship and I am deeply grateful! Thanks again.
    P.S.: Sorry for the repost. My edits don’t seem to be sticking..

    Thank you so much about sharing this experience! I have watched your tik tok on how to identify "life style pharmaceutical" companies and to not be so blinded by the salary and perks and I feel like this is a great example of that I will definitely keep this in mind as I plan to enter this industry and build up my career and professional experience!

    What a nightmare! No one deserves that amount of stress. This is exactly why there should never be interface between business/finance departments and regulatory/compliance departments. The conflict of interest is clear. Thank you for sharing this ordeal.

    MAybe finance was so involved because it is a small company. I reckon they had to be financially very strigent....I am just playing the devils advocate here...

    • @kyabdul
      @kyabdul  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Finance did not need to be involved whatsoever. Considering they had insane turnover themselves. Couldn’t keep their own finance staff for longer than a couple of months..but worried about other departments…makes no sense

    Sending an email to the board of directors was so NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!! Thats over kill...I can tell working with someone like you will be HELL. You already quit...leave it at that and move on. WHy are you contacting the board? Yeah, I believe your story but I know working with you will be hell!!!!

      1) Thank you for watching my video, the view is appreciated. However I do not need you to validate the story being told. It was posted for educational purposes for those working in the industry and those curious about the industry. 2) Thank you for recognizing my unique skill set which includes vast confidence in my experience & abilities. Its taken over a decade to acheive this level of faith in myself. Everyone who is EXCELLENT at their job should be hell to work with in some capacity. Especially when the role you hold is to ensure patient safety, quality assurance, and abidance of the LAW.

    • @kyabdul
      @kyabdul  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      It’s taken me far enough. I don’t fear any person enough to not do what I know is the right thing. I also wasn’t the only person to engage with the board…I didn’t mention others cause it wasn’t necessary…I don’t have an attitude. You’re a person on the internet, watching me, subscribing an attitude to me based on something you watched…you’re not employing me and I continue to gain employment even after openly telling potential employers aspects of the circumstance I stated in the video…lastly I am not unique lol. Many people alert boards. OpenAI employees contacted their board a few weeks ago. Board-employee engagements are not rare. You may just be inexperienced to know that and I do not fault you for that.

      the fact that you are even taking the time to write an essay in response to a random person on the internet watching you means, I just might be important...You level of emotional intelligence is very low and you lack tact.@@kyabdul
