In today's top 5/10 mario video we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of the #enemies seen in the #supermario series made by nintendo. Throughout the years there have been a lot mario games like super mario world, super mario 64, super mario sunshine, new super mario bros, new super mario galaxy, super mario 3d land, super mario 3d world, super mario run, super mario bros 3 and not too long ago they released the new super Mario odyssey for the nintendo switch which has all kinds of new characters like cappy and locations like the sand kingdom, new donk city and bowsers kingdom. In these games we have seen power ups like the fire flower, ice flower, super mushroom, mega mushroom, super star, hammer suit, spring mushroom and way more. But there were enemies that didn’t help mario, luigi, toad, princess peach, rosalina and the others to escape bowser, the broodals, koopalings and bowser jr. Dimentio: actually a good guy who lets Mario defeat the bad guy which the bad guy tries to destroys several dimensions and kills millions then Dimentio tries to do it too but also wants to make new worlds

How ironic he thought Dimentio was an honorable mention, as he nearly wiped out all dimensions. However, I can excuse the fact he knew little about him at the time.
As I recall, Dimentio is probably one of the most evil because he did all his stuff for fun, not really for gain.
Oh, but it was also the first step to becoming king of the universe...
And he almost.....destroyed all life and most likely became the most powerful villain in the entire series as super dimentio, only beaten by the pure hearts
@@mm-lw8yd super dimentio is possible one of the strongest video game characters. He can destroy entire universe with just one snap and that isnt even his full power. He is also almost impossible to kill because he can see 3000 years into the future so he can see if someone is gonna attack him. And even if you go back in time and somehow kill him, that will not stop the current dimentio. And super dimemtio had all that power, plus the black heart, and Luigi

Dimentio is far worse than all of everyone on this list. Not only did he force Luigi to turn against Mario and co against his will, he was also the mastermind behind the destruction of the universe. Had it not been for Mario, Dimentio would have eradicated all life in the universe, killing trillions of innocent people in the process.
Dimentio was the last member of the Tribe of Darkness to be alive after Count Bleck destroyed their world. And so Dimentio offered his assistance to Count Bleck in his plan to end reality itself. But Count Bleck rejected his offer out of his distrust of who Dimentio was, and what he represented. Until Count Bleck found out in the Book of The Dark Prophecy that Dimentio was the reincarnation of his ancestor, an ancient magician who created the first pixel and wrote the Dark Prognosticus, therefore making him the mastermind of the cataclysmic end of the very fabric of reality itself.
Smithy from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars deserves a mention. He launched a full scale war against Mario's world. His forces conquered most of the planet.

Dr.Wily but in BIS story, he took the main role, and was relatively successful when compared to his old "master", and after SSDX, it's hinted that he was planning on overthrowing her eventually, since everything made by those two, were by and based off of Fawful
Fawful even reveals at the end of BIS that he had planned everything he hzd done with Cackletta, but also that he was behind the scene for the Shroob invasion
Fawful is a very important fellow and is very similer to me. I feel that he could be a useful tool when I put my plan into action and become king of the universe.

@@jotarokujo8423 Nonetheless the Instruction Booklet of the first Super Mario Bros. says Bowser did it himself.
Magikoopas didn't even exist back then and neither did Kamek as a specific one as that one didn't exist until much later. (Yoshi's Island was Kamek's first introduction.)
And even with today's confusion around the inconsistent Kamek/Magikoopa naming convention, a Plural is wrong in either case.
Dark Star is quite aggressive, violent and very powerful

Here's my list
Honorable mentions: Bowser ( he has done some terrible things but he's also saved the Mushroom Kingdom if not the world SEVERAL TIMES so that holds his evil back), Count Bleck ( he may have tried to destroy the universe but he also was instrumental in defeating Dimentio)
The Shadow Queen ( she's a stereotypical demon antagonist but she ALMOST made it)
5. Antasma ( the guy pretty much committed genocide so that alone gets him on the list)
4. Cackletta ( she will do anything in her search of power)
3. King Boo ( he'll destroy an entire universe just to kill Luigi and his psychological torment is also pure evil)
2. Fawful/ The Dark Star ( Fawful is pure evil he will go to any lengths to get what he wants but he will also taunt his enemies every chance he gets. Combine that with the fact that he awakened an ancient evil to take over the world and that evil almost destroyed the world yeah Fawful more than deserves to be this high along with the Dark Star which is that ancient evil Fawful awakened. )
1. Dimentio ( he does whatever he wants because he can and when he got the chaos heart his plan was to destroy the universe and remake it in his image that's pretty much what Thanos wanted to do in Avengers Endgame and if I'm comparing a villain to Thanos then you know that that character is pure evil)
Dimentio is by far the most evil one, however the Shroobs are as well pretty damn evil.
I really love the tiny animations you gave to the official character renders, it's one of those small things that you just gotta appreciate because he didn't have to go out of his way to do that. :)

It is, just think about it, already in the first Super Mario was able to convert the inhabitants of the kingdom mushroom in Stones, Plants and bricks And I leave the whole kingdom in ruins, I also leave cryonized to the Shroobs (bowser's inside story) Regardless of the consequences of their actions , he does not care about others, he will destroy and "assassinate" anything that gets in his way, but as Mario games is for all audiences Their actions and plans look less threatening

Princess Shroob is without a doubt one of the most evil Mario villains but I think the Shadow Queen from Paper Mario TTYD is a bit worse. She actually ruled the world at one point, killed/ tortured millions of people for defying her and for her own sadistic pleasure, kept thousands of their bodies in her Palace and drain people of their life force.

For real. Princess Shroob’s deed have been witnessed and and it was dark for Mario standards. However, is not above your standard bloodless carnage alien invasion many other works did. While TTYD didn’t shown Shadow Queen’s deeds on-screen, she wasn’t short of acts of cruelty in the background, and it sounded like it was some serious shit
@@burra007 Yes, which is why I think the Shadow Queen is worse. her acts were so dark that Nintendo most likely wouldn't be okay with it being on screen.
@@kotlolish That's one of the few problems I have with her, we only know about her towards the end. However, I think the few things we knew of her makes the Shadow Queen much more eerie and mysterious leaving us to fill in certain blanks about her motives, her backstory and where she came from. Even her powers weren't fully restored so who knows what else she was capable of. Those reasons are why she's my favorite Mario villain.
Umm... I understand that I am not included because you don't know a lot about me, but your research missed out on a key detail. I destroyed all worlds with the power of the chaos heart, obtained by means of mind control, torture, and manipulation. Of course, Those Mario brothers, the princess, and a certain fire breathing turtle who definitely does not deserve to be on his list managed to destroy the chaos heart and bring back the worlds.

I think Grodus is another close contender. (Spoilers for TTYD ahead) During Chapter 8 he came VERY close to killing Mario. He had Peach trapped in some strange Green Shield which gave him the power to cut off her oxygen. Grodus then ordered Mario not to move. Mario and his Partners were in a dire situation. It was either attempt to attack Grodus and possibly kill Peach or stand still and do nothing while Grodus could do whatever he pleased to Mario. Mario bravely stood still. Grodus then proceeded to strike Mario and his Partners with lightning over and over again. He nearly killed them all. However Bowser who was trying to find his way through the Shadow Palace, fell through the floor and temporarily crushed Grodus which little did he know just saved Mario’s life. As an after effect, a weakened Mario had to also fight Bowser and Kammy Koopa as well which forced Mario to have to heal DURING the fight. After that... Well I think you get the point.
Smithy breaks the Star Road and makes it impossible for wishes to be granted. As Geno once said, "without wishes, nothing would happen in the world. Bowser would fail at kidnapping the princess. Mario would fail at saving the princess." In essence, in a world without wishes, everything falls apart.

i think fawful should be top 1, he almost succeeded in taking over mushroom kingdom, even with beeing the minion of cackletta, he made some of the toads turn into some sort of big balls, he made bowser inhale the plumbers and peach then later taking the peach away, he took the dark star and turned himself into some sort of parasite that were in dark bowsers body, he literally exploded inside bowser etc.

I think the reason why king boo turned into bowser was because that was most likely Luigi’s greatest fear, which is why Mario is usually the hero since a lot of the time it’s just bowser, this theory kinda makes the tormenting thing worse..

Here’s my top 5 (No spin-offs)
5: Nabbit: He steals from Toad Houses for no reason, and decides he will make Mario chase and catch him, and to run faster. Like, if he ran like Koopa The Quick, it would be fine.
4: Bowser Jr.: Sure he’s bad, but do you blame him? His dad is a princess-napper! The only reason he’s worse than Nabbit is that he tries to hurt Mario, while Nabbit just makes you chase him.
3: Wario: Here’s some reasons. In his debut, he tried to hurt the poor animals of the forest, meaning that Wario is heartless. Also, some of his allies in the WarioWare franchise are dooshes. (Mona’s cool tho) Lastly, the plot of Mario Land 2.
2: Bowser: He’s bad, but naive. Like, why do you have an OBVIOUS axe near your bridge? It is also shown that in Odyssey, it’s shown that Peach HATES Bowser. If someone hates you, it’s time to just let it go. Ok, Bowser?
1: Boo: Ok, the Boo is bad because of all the scaring that happens when he’s around. Also, in Mario 64, he contains a giant eye in his house. That kinda messed up if you ask me. Also, why do you want Mario? Why? Also, his friend the Peepa is even more obnoxious than him.

Bowser? He basically means no threath at all, he kidnapps peach several times, but he never killed anyone during this. And not to mention that his father was the evil magikoopa kamek. He cares about his childrens, and he never threats peach bad. He lets her to cokk for herself etc.
An accurate number 1 is Mario. He's committed mass murder to almost genocide against many species and they were just walking left and right.
I think I would have certainly had Chauncey off the list, and replaced him with Dimentio. Then taken off Cackletta and replaced her with Fawful

@@megarotom1590 yeah it said that if the block gave a power up than Mario saved a toad and the toad was rewarding Mario. But with the technology at the time they could not show it in game. So Mario killed no toads in super Mario Bros for NES.

Dimentio to me is be far the most evil being in the mushroom kingdom.
He uses Count Bleck, takes Luigi away and turns has him become Mr. L, he kills Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser, he destroys an entire world and that means he temporarily committed a mass genocide of every species living in that world. He tries to kill Bleck and Nastasia and much more

I think super paper Mario style for Mario maker would be better. It's not like there's anything to improve in super paper Mario anyways, except for maybe the timer on 3D mode.
