Throughout the years there have been a lot mario games like super mario world, super mario 64, super mario sunshine, new super mario bros, new super mario galaxy, super mario 3d land, super mario 3d world, super mario run, super mario bros 3 and not too long ago they released the new super Mario odyssey for the nintendo switch which has all kinds of new characters like cappy and locations like the sand kingdom, new donk city and bowsers kingdom. In these games we have seen power ups like the fire flower, ice flower, super mushroom, mega mushroom, super star, hammer suit, spring mushroom and way more. But there were power ups that helped mario, luigi, toad, princess peach, rosalina and the others to escape bowser, the broodals, koopalings and bowser jr. fun fact: Super mario world's Gommba are not really Goombas, they are called Galoomba, its comfirmed in super mario 3d world and super mario maker 1 or 2
Goombas- getting brutally murdered since ‘85.
Actually, their last appearance before Mario Maker 1 wasn’t 1988. It was actually Super Mario Advance 4 in 2004. Although being a remake of Mario 3, it DID have new levels, one of which involved our favorite shoe. Also, although not an appearance, you could count their homage in Bowsers Inside Story from 2009. Although just a normal green shoe is a gimmick in that game, still very clearly a reference.
No matter how good they are they all die under Mario's shoes.
Except for Goomboss.

Imagine if Tanoomba returns in platformer games (different from Tail Goomba who just floats a lil bit and spins his tail like a raccoon as Tanoomba has a different face and also the ears), Tanoomba would disguise himself as any other obstacle in a level and sometimes successfully impersonate Bowser in a random level although one fireball or hit from anything else would instantly K.O him, but he could also be other stuff like items, or other enemies, however they would always have a tail, once you get close to him, he'll reveal his true form, jump and flutter towards you like a regular Tail Goomba, this enemy is underrated

How does the goomba shoe get wings? Can it get other power-ups?
Can someone give me advice, my switch’s micro sd card reader broke and I have not decided what to do, but super Mario odyssey is my favorite game, but it is on the micro sd card. Should I just download on the switch or just wait?
Have you checked to see if you have the option to redownload the game from the eshop? I know that when I buy digital copies of things, it gives me the option to archive the game to clear up room, and then I can just download it again whenever I want. I do my stuff on the Switch's memory though, since I don't have a microSD yet. If you need a new Switch, I would just wait and then use the SD card with Odyssey on it with that Switch, unless you just want two copies of the game.
Also, I apologize if I am totally misunderstanding your issue.
