Hey everyone, I found this video difficult to film but I hope some of you find it helpful! I know I don’t seem my happiest self but I think I found it quite sad thinking back to these times. Send you all lots of love! There’s a bunch of helpful links in the info box xxxxxx

Its hard for a man to understand why so many women are so concerned with their bodies when in reality they look amazing. Beauty radiates from your eyes and your intelligence. I suffer from depression and sadness as well so i understand that. Wish you well and acceptation of your whole beautiful self :)

I have been on medication for 5 years, sometimes I came off medication because I didn't want ro be that person. I am still not better, losing hope, I am trying to watch videos of people getting better

Aspiring psychologist here! Currently working in CAMHS and have previously been a CBT therapist for children too. Thank you so much for speaking out, i'm glad CBT helped you so much ❤️ i've been following you for a while now, you have a great mindset and approach to topics!

thank you for being so transparent and for making this video, firstly as it takes incredible strength to talk about something so personal so publicly, and secondly, I know being in the medical field that these sorts of topics are not spoken about much; oftentimes as medical students and as doctors, we tend to shy away from talking about our own mental health. this will help so many people, myself included. lots of love and hugs

Thank you for sharing this with us. I could see how upsetting it was to think back to those times just by watching this. It must have been difficult for you to share. I'm sure your transparency will help many others who may be going through the same thing. I'm glad you're doing better now :) xx

Hey radhika great work sharing this I know how difficult it is! I was in the year below you at Imperial and it's amazing how similar our stories are! What you're doing is amazing and there's definitely going to be someone who has seen this and sought help because of it.

So so much of this is like what I went through, I’ve had counselling on and off since I was 17, CBT combined with medication when I was 19/20 was an absolute game changer but so exhausting as well.
I am constantly surprised and even now have to remind myself how many other people have the same experiences and difficulties with mental health. I really think the fact that people talk about all of this more now is a really good thing and so much healthier.
Proud of you for everything you’ve done and made it through. ❤️

Thank you so much for this. I’m a medical student and I am going through something similar. My experience with my parents had been similar as they are immigrants. Hoping I can get help soon because I don’t recognise the person I am anymore

This is super brave of you to do and hats off for doing this! I’m only half way through this but definitely hits on many levels! I’ve followed you in the last 6/7 months on social media and I’ve always thought Radhika’s so good, out there doing her thing and thinking you’ve not had anything going on in your life but just goes to show that I was so wrong and you went through certain things so many of may have gone through etc!
