I’ve had the X9 for a couple of weeks and slowly trying it out. Every now and then I turn it off for a day or so then give it another at different levels etc. So far, I haven’t found it to be worth bothering with but I do like the anti theft mode. I intend to persevere for a few more weeks before I make a decision.
Just bought a Hikeit XS using your promo code for my ‘22 Y62 .. thanks mate. Was going to buy the X9 but went with the XS after watching your video.. looks to be easier to adjust from reading all the info on the Hikeit website.
They definitely make it more perky mate but your right put your foot down more will achieve the same result the big difference with throttle controller's is they access 100% throttle quicker
Awesome little vid mate. Definitely looking at one for the MU-X, seen a couple of great reviews on these new Hike It units as oppose to iDrive. Might go the Hike It I think 🤙

Thank's for the video. I've got a N70 Hilux and was looking to get one of these. How would you compare this to the other brand on the market ?? Are they similar in function and operation ??
From as far as I’m aware I’m no expert on every throttle controller on the market this has the best features for your money I have ran these for 3+ years and never had an issue mate
Hay fella love your videos but I was let down by hikeit .. please make sure they look after there customers before advertising there stuff I brought the xs model using your discount code I live in nz .. they sent the wrong unit the x9 model and wrong loom for my ranger .. I have left emails and voice mails and messenger messages and they won’t get back to me or reply .. yes the x9 does the same thing but it’s not what I orderd or want .. just abit gutted as I really like the look of them
I do realise it was most likely a genuine mistake and I’m sure they will sort it or hope they will even if I have to pay extra shipping for the correct one .. keep up the videos awsome to see and great info

Seen allot of false codes and limp modes activated from throttle controllers and other plug ins. Simply lies to ecu about inputs and actually decreases your throttle control. Want more throttle push right foot further
Well for the 3 years I have not encountered a single fault code with my cars. You have missed the point entirely with these of coarse want more throttle put your foot down but what if you want less throttle what if you want to soften the throttle so the car does not jerk around on rocks you can’t regulate that with your foot. These have there purpose on any 4wd if used correctly.
@@4x4CampingandAdventures Yeah mate i agree with softening but really only necessary when you have what i call a mall truck tune that's not set up for offloading. And no not everyone has issues arise my point here about "plugins" is made from over 20 years diagnosing a fixing issues. I haven't missed Your point simply pointing out the facts and was in No way having a direct dig at yourself. Any reputable diagnostics shop that's not selling these products will tell you the same.

Makes a big difference on slow rock stuff with the dampened throttle I have found also on the beach.

Just quicker to respond I do believe I saw a video from 0-100 and it was a touch quicker but I wouldn’t be buying one for that reason.
