I installed an EVC throttle controller for my 2008 hilux and its was instantly amazing, the response was incredible. I set it to U 9 which is the most responsive setting & it spun the wheels, I thought it was way too responsive on that setting, but it's great that you have the option to set it to a comfortable setting.

they work by adjusting how much throttle is open at a different rate to your pedal input. level 9 would be 100% throttle on the butterfly where 1 would be like 10% open butterfly.
I have a 2008 auto Ti model aswell and the best thing I did was get a set of Razorback seat covers and Trufit 3D floor mats. Made it much easy to keep the interior in top shape 🤙
I found with my Patrol it was slow going up hills but mine was the manual one in the 3.0 Diesel. It’s one car they should of never went into the 3,0 they should of stuck with the 4.2 way more balls for a big car .
I've just got back from 6 weeks crossing the Simpson & hanging out in the Alice Springs area. The throttle, even on heavily rutted & corrugated, was nightmarish. Will seriously have a look at one of these now.
Had one of these in a 1.6l turbo manual build, difference it made was insane. Chopped commedors off the line right out the gate, hands down best budget friendly mod I ever made!
There good things especially for the autos. I have an idrive and in eco mode 9 on mine is super crawly is crawl mode 9 on yours super crawly aswell ? Like fuck all throttle response ? Or is it the opposite 1 being hardly any response, patrols super clean to bro wish mine was still that clean lol
That’s mint! Tbh I think 9 is the highest on mine and 1 is the lowest but I’m not 100 percent on that! I legit just chucked it in and went Glassy haha!!
as long as the patrol doesnt blow up like a grenade then this mod should be fine

the whole riding brakes thing in autos can be fixed with a lock up kit and a new auto valve vody (check wholesale automatics)
