I now only go to my local Filson store once a week. I’m a recovering addict. Good review. Keep it up👍🏻 . It’s nice to have a channel posting a lot of Filson product reviews. Can’t really find many on TH-cam.
I bought a medium and love it, where it almost daily for my walk with the dogs. I wear a light quilted nylon large vest over it as a wind break. I do find that hair and hay tend to be attracted to sticking to it. Great review
I don’t think it would be very easy to tailor something knitted, but I could be wrong. Other than that most wool items should be able to be tailored like any other garment.
There is no local filson store where I live. So I call the Toronto or Vancouver store and order items over the phone from them, that way I can avoid the fees at the border when I order online. If I remember correctly I think shipping is either cheaper or free ordering from the stores in Canada compared to ordering online.
@@wildforwool3821 Check out Altitude Sports as well, free shipping and returns. They often have sales and 5-10% member discounts. I got the Mac Cruiser from their website but their Filson selection is somewhat limited. Had to return the JacShirt because of the weird pockets that are placed way too far back. Also while I'm at it, check out the Mountain Belt from Craft and Lore. I think it would be right up your alley. Best belt I've ever worn!
Waste of money. So are the regular mackinaw anoraks. I bought the new Yukon wool anorak from them when they first released it and the sizing is ridiculous and unrealistic. If you are actually using it for work or day to day activities, stay away. I guess if you want to make youtube videos its fine. The hood was 3x the size it should be and the waist cinch was a joke (along with the hood cinch points). Spend the money on a proper wool anorak and buy from boreal or weather wool. I'm a big Filson fan but alot of their stuff doesnt hit the mark with fit or functionality.

nice video, I like the way you analyzed the item. I would expect something for this price to be lined but the hood looks really nice.

Thanks for the review.
What lambskin jacket are you wearing in your opening sequence? It looks nice. Thanks for the video review!
Nevermind. I think I've found the video. Thanks.
Do you prefer this one over the mackinaw wool one?
At this point I prefer the mackinaw one
can it b tailored?
always wondered if or why wool products can b? but very nice, wish I could afford one in Filson.

Where do you buy your Filson gear? I'm in Canada, don't know any stores that carry it.
