You probably won’t remember me, i’m Manuel Rueda, I was a freshman last year and you have inspired me to go after my goals and be happy in life. I have never been happier and more grateful for my life. God has blessed so many people with you. Thank you liam
I remember you, reading that makes it all worth it to me. Thank you for your kind message. Keep getting after that, and let your life be a light to others brother💪
Liam, it’s Srikrishna, Most, if not all of the cadets you’ve talked to, whether they’re commanders, deputies, juniors, and sophomores alike, you’ve inspired us to follow our own dreams, our goals that we never thought we were strong enough for. Liam, in the one year I knew you as a freshman, you inspired me to keep on pushing myself, in the few times I saw you during PT, you cemented yourself as the strongest person I know, and I’m sure many others share this sentiment. My older brother Sriram, he was in a similar position to you, he was given a prestigious scholarship to study at A&M by the Air Force, his scholarship was denied due to his lungs not having enough capacity and his asthmatic conditions, it wasn’t fair, it felt like he was cursed from the start, like all his fighting to become better physically was a sisyphean task that led nowhere, but that wasn’t the end to his life, it couldn’t be, he had to apply to hundreds upon hundreds of other scholarships and pursue many other options that he wouldn’t have considered beforehand. But eventually after such strife, sweat, suffering, and shed tears. He made it, he’s an aerospace engineer major at A&M now. What I mean to say with this comment is that you’re strong Liam, and you’ll find a way to push forward in life.
Wow, comments like this make it worth it for me, truly. Yes, Sriram is a great guy, we even talked about his situation and the similarities in mine. Thank you for the support and kind words.
