  • In this video at the last minute, I decided to rebuild a transformer
In my last video, I did a really nice hall from the Springfield train fair and in that video I showed you a garbage transformer. Well, I got a little bored today and decided tear it apart and fix it up.
I usually put a viewers layout at the end of my videos, but not this time
Because I only do it once a week and this is my second video this week. But if you’d like me to feature your layout on my channel it’s really easy
Just send video and/or pictures of your layout to my Facebook through messenger at:
Papaville O Gauge Trains and Stuff
    Or
    Email them to :

That is a nice, little, Marx transformer. It's good that you masked off the labels, which makes for a nicer restoration. It just shows that there is life left in almost anything with a little TLC. A nice video.

Marx guy here, I`ve done the same as well, two Marx, one Flyer, and a Lionel. All four were early postwar 1946--1960s, metal enclosed cased. To be different I painted them yellow, boy do they stand out. I noticed, your FLUKE the as mine.

I thought about changing the color, but I decided to keep it original
