    As I started to listen to the video I was immediately thinking tuono v4 then you said it. Def the only replacement for the fz1.

    I ride fzn1 and have absolutely 0 reason to switch. Just keep it man. It ticks all the boxes.

    2022 ftr1200 might be a good option, they fixed the wheels and rake to handle a lot better, could be a good do-everything bike now

    I'm in the market for something sport tourey but not big and heavy too. I currently ride an XSR700(Same as MT07) I need a decent front fairing/windscreen bike because fighting wind wears me down. Thought about finding a lower miles FZ1 or holding out for a Ninja1000SX or that new Suzuki.

    Yamaha should think about a 1000cc twin. That will replace the TDM 900

    I’ve had 23,000 trouble free miles on my 09’ fz1. I don’t think I could sell it or replace it lol. (I also have a gl1800). The Fz just does everything I like in a bike. The only replacement I’ve thought was close was the KTM super duke tour I think it was called (not a current model) so maybe look for a slightly used one? The super duke is super cool 😎

    • @andyhaskins7179
      @andyhaskins7179 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@andyhaskins7179 Sweet.
      Hows that one holding up?
      I almost got that brand but decided OEM.
      I replaced mine the other night with only 4500 miles on my bike.
      I could see that the magnets are already starting to go if I looked closely.
      I feel so much better now that I did it .

    i found myself in the same position as i own the FZ1 as well and could not sell it. I went and purchased a Buell for cheap. Its an 08 Buell 1125R for 3500$ and this bike rips! The bike has such interesting characteristics with fuel in frame and oil in swing arm, the mass is all down low making centre of gravity amazing. One of the best handling bikes out there. Just food for thought if you end up really wanting to keep the FZ1 like me, its a cheap option if you can find one.

    • @FocusedGarage

      A Buell is a very fun purchase. They are unique bikes and there aren't many around.

  • @myname9252
    @myname9252 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Personally I would opt for the streetfighter or ktm 1200.
    That ktms tq is nuts on the dyno and really gives it oomph.
    They actually run better times than the FZ and I am sure ride way better as far as Street riding goes.
    Street fighter like you said,expensive.
    But man that 190 hp at the wheel stock.
    Thats nuts in its own right.

  • @westondifranco9313
    @westondifranco9313 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Mayb a vrf1200? Its a sport tourer. Heavier. But it makes something like 170HP. And its a Honda. So it will outlive your grand kids. And its a v4.

      @@FocusedGarage Honda makes the 800. In a touring and naked version. Not sold in America which sucks. Im saving up for a gen FZ1. Aside from the rotar needing replaced that bike will just keep rolling.
